I found the song carnival of rust a few months ago and it is now one of my all time FAVORITES. But I haven't found any other of their songs that i really like. I mean, their other songs aren't horrible but the few I have heard are nowhere near the level of carnival of rust and don't make it to my playlist. But I was hoping that some fans could suggest some of their other songs that are as good as that one.

This one really caused a light bulb moment. Such an inspiration to think of yourself as a choice millionaire. Even if i cannot just do whatever I want, be it due to lack of means or ability, I still can choose from a million options how to continue, which way to go, which door to open. Really liberating. Love it!
@whitefantom6 жыл бұрын
This exactly! Ever since the first time I heard it, this song has become a kind of anthem for me. It's literally saved my life, and it helps me any time I feel stuck or hopeless. I bought a Hopecatcher necklace (the silver feather on a chain Marko hands to the blonde girl at 3:24 that gives her the strength to go back and free the others), and I wear it every single day to remind me that I don't have to feel stuck or helpless, and that I have the power to choose the direction of my life. For a seemingly innocuous little 80's-inspired synthpop song, this song has had a major impact on me, and I'm forever thankful that it (and the whole band!) found its way into my life.

Speaking of which, I can't find the closing lyrics anywhere. Not even on the official PoTF website. Been trying to peace them together but because of accents, echos, and such I have no clue how close I actually am. I could be WAY off, not sure. Here's as far as I've gotten; "Tell me this, would you miss it try and open up the face again, to see it's you, and wondering where you've been not where you're going to find yourself before the night is through tell me this is it lonely in the shadow of a masquerade or a life you hide behind. And what's the deal with your reasons to run away and leave your feelings in the city lights."
@JodianGaming8 жыл бұрын
OMG, I figured it was Dying to Live but wasn't sure. I only searched for the last part of the lyrics, because they appeared on screen. I can confirm that they actually say; "What's the deal with your reasons to run away, and leave your feelings in the city lines (lights?)" Dying to Live did come up in the results when I did the search, but the lyrics are actually different so I wasn't completely sure. "What's the deal with your reasons to run away and let your feelings leave you undefined"
