Dr. Marcie Feinman completed medical school at the George Washington University, residency training in general surgery at New York Medical College and Fellowship training in both trauma surgery and surgical critical care at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She joined the staff at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in 2014 and currently holds the positions of Vice Chair of the Department of Surgery, Division Chief for Acute Care Surgery and Program Director for the general surgery residency. In these roles she has been instrumental in shaping the training program for our future surgeons as well as overseeing all the operations for trauma surgery, surgical critical care and emergency general surgery. More recently, she completed a Masters in Education, as well as an Executive Coaching Certification, which she uses to help attendings and trainees reach their full potential. Her recent induction into the ACS Academy of Master Surgeon Educators solidified her renown as an exceptional educator. In her free time, she can be found with her husband, two young children and giant Goldendoodle Alfie.
