I’m painting a kit like this now or I’m working on it. I love it. I been pin striping for sbout 3 years now. I wish Rikki was still making drums. He made beautiful kits.

Hi Rikki - This is Scott in Ventura. I came to your sale on Sunday and bought the Rockett Drum Works sign. Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to buy it! I found a great spot in my house to display it and hung it up. I was just looking through the videos on your channel here for some info on Rockett Drum Works (so I could know a bit about the history of it) and was glad to have found this one. Good to see them being made. Really like the pinstriping. I'm a painter myself but have never tried it - maybe one day. I can see it takes a lot of practice but you and Uncle Bob make it look easy!

My in-laws had a booth at Sturgis every year until about 2010. They sold some nice Indian jewelry. It was my father-laws favorite venue and they likely heard you play that year. 👍

@@sjdrummerboy I remember I was In Indianapolis and my girlfriend was mad at me, hadn’t talked, there was a band I knew playing at a big club and we were both there. I sat in and played “ Talk dirty to me” and played it well. She came over and we made up.

Rocket, should’ve had the drums 🥁 kit assembled 🔩, and then had it painted 👨🏼‍🎨🎨 the day of the show 🏟️. Not the best planning to meet a deadline.
