I've only obtained one shiny, my Beedril who I named Honey because I knew that was the only way to remind me that it's shiny! I noticed right away that it's color was off. Out of paranoia of foddering the wrong Pokemon, I check EVERY Pokemon I'm about to use for training to make sure that it is definitely the one that I want to use.

A good way to shiny hunt for absolutely FREE is changing the date on ur system a day farther and random poke will come. You can do this multiple times and you get free energy by this method too! Not pm tickets though

there is shiny hunting tho. the more efficiently you play the game the more chances you have at getting shiny pokemon! for example the silver pot can make the stew that can give you a chance at a large variety of mid level shiny pokemon with only 3 games required. once you get to a point where you have about 7~10k power you can grind resources along with stones you can break down

instead of wasting cooking, there is a glitch where you go to the expedition map and then change your day one day foward. then go back on the game and go to your camp and in the top right corner of your camp (where your daily pokemon spawns) there is a pokemon. this is esy and got me 30 shinies in just 4 days.
