they went to the beginning of time in chariots of the dogs if i’m not mistaken mr featherly was chillin’ there at the beginning of time, sam and max switched him out for an egg

Sam and Max season 2 had a considerable amount of time travel. Much of what Sam listed involved those mariachis, a time travel elevator, and sending souls to Hell via Bermuda Triangle portals and Easter Island heads.

although to be fair Sam doesn't remember that because he was effected by the reality warping and was told of it by his Max and the Max with him is a different one that never went through that mis-adventure
