Your video showed up on my feed when I was looking up stuff on the RZR 800. I installed the same windshield last winter as well, used the weather stripping the same as you to prevent rattling. Rather than the o-rings I ended up putting a spring over the shaft for the windshield wiper which keeps it snug and prevents rattling. Having used an assortment of partial and full plexiglass windshields over the years I love this glass one. Despite the debris, it has remained scratch free. Only downside is I suck up more dust into the cab under certain conditions. Very well done video

Outstanding video sir! I just received this exact same windshield yesterday and your step by step instructions will make things much less complicated. Thanks for taking the time to make this video and place it up online.

Hi. Are you still taking requests for stove projects? I'd like to see if you can take a chunky soup can and a regular 10 or 11 ounce soup can and make something useful out of them. The cans fit together perfectly and it's easy to swap the inner cans. I've tried it a few times but my creations won't boil in less than 18-20 minutes. Is it just too small?

As I recall… the can sizes are too close so the flow between them is choked. But it’s been a long time since I tried it.

I think “Wood Gas Science Air intake experiment V1 “ uses the same configuration you are talking about…

@@heathputnam9524 I just rewatched parts parts 1 and 2. That's about what mine does. It looks a little like the flame of an oil lamp. Too bad that's the best you could do since it's so easy to make one like this. Oh well....I'll be attempting a Vortex V5.4 soon. Two quick questions. 1. Should I make the original one from the video or skip it and go straight to the optimized one? 2. I don't have a safety opener so my plan is to open the can normally then cut out the bottom to fit the inner can. Does the open bottom throw all your other calculations out the window? Thanks.

If I were you I would used the 5.4 build video and build it as close as you can. Once you burn it send me questions and I’ll try to help you optimize if necessary. The open bottom will not hurt the burn much but the heat coming out of the bottom will be intense so set it on a brick or rock.

Can sizes too close… no flow between them. I thought it would work great but didn’t! Haha!
