imo this mod is the perfect example of what an extension mod should be. it utilizes the original mod's content in familiar ways, while adding new incentive to use the items, such as the effects granted by candies. one of my favorite mods, and a great video, polar! cheers

This has got me thinking...what if there was a create add-on that is essentially a full-fledged Willy Wonka mod? Imagine all the wacky confections you could create and automate! Fizzy lifting drinks that give you levitation, oompa loompas that can automate manual tasks, minecraft inspired candy flavors, and stuff that either pays homage to or directly recreates moments from the movie! This is a great fun mod. I can see it being integrated into the Villager Recruits mod where if you give your soldiers candy rations it will boost their loyalty and thus their combat skills.

Can't gingerbread cookie mobs be train conductors too? I was thinking of making a candy train with the blocks from this mod and I remember seeing these lil guys driving trains. I wanna use the train to transport ingredients for sweets-making and for transporting the sweets to whatever storage/stations I need to in my world playing with the Create Re-flavored modpack. They already added this to the pack, and I figure I should use this as an opportunity to both practice making some factories and also mass produce some items that would help me with exploring the world and building more. Plus, I need more train theme ideas, and tbh, the brass train engine hull fits in pretty well with the caramel blocks, and the copper or brass might also work for gingerbread. I can probably fake it a bit with the other cars with some of the other stuff I have at my disposal too, once an engine car is sorted out.

Create Enchanting and Create Confectionery would be good to Have on a Server with Possibly Hundreds of Players on at once so that you can have some Advanced type of Economy going or a War Industry for the Enchantments. You will need a Cobblestone Generator to get the Enchantments going because you'll be able to get the Nuggets of Experience by Washing Sand as well as Other Resources like Lapis Lazuli, Redstone, Copper or even Gold. I wonder if you could use the Item Vaults to Build Shipping Containers so that you can Ship Massive Amounts of Items across the World of Minecraft, even on Ships across Oceans?

Biggest missed opportunity is not adding candy apples. They could have added them in a simple recipe of squirting caramel or chocolate over an apple.

Got this mod my in my modpack, have never used it, lol. Basically all "food" mods are annoying or useless (you need easy to make food), unless an modpack reworks food system like for example ROTN (Rebirth of The Night) or RLCraft

@@Alvin-yo7rs its an ok mod but MCreator is awful. It's basically scratch for minecraft from what I understand so it creates spaghetti code and has very minimal functionality for example you can't even make machines that would interact with create using MCreator without embedding your own code

@@technoboop1890 mcreator is fine, really. there is a LOT of stigma around it, but it is genuinely a good tool and brushing it off as 'bad' is rather harmful to any would-be creators. the base mcreator of course can't interact with create; since that's an entirely different mod. thats why plugins exist.

@@baconiumo it is bad though. It cant interact with other mods and it makes very unoptimised spaghetti code. Those are 2 points that can be fixed by just learning to code the real way. Don't get me wrong MCreator might be a good tool for children or beginners but beyond that you'll need to actual code to make anything substantial.

​@@technoboop1890 clearly this mod itself directly disproves that, alongside many others. MCreator has many plugins and tools to allow it to interact with other mods, such as Create, Farmer's Delight, and others. It also does NOT have much spaghetti code or unoptimization whatsoever excluding biomes, which has to use structures for... some reason. So, yes, it really is quite a good tool, regardless of being a child or not, which is a rather odd dig into people who use it. Just don't go making dimensions and biomes and stuff (most stuff generation-wise is probably going to have trouble, except maybe ores.) Besides, MCreator was never MEANT to be a permanent tool. It's whole schtick is being a good place to make mods without the coding part. It might have bugs, but so does standard programming! Before discrediting a tool because it takes less effort (which is why many mod makers spout their distaste towards it, which I'm assuming you got that from) look into some of the cool projects using it! Enemy Expansion and Furti_Two's works are some great examples.
