I'm not going to say which state/lakes because I don't want more cops to suddenly show up 😅.. but I've been on lakes (pontoon and speed boats) my whole life and never saw more than DNR rangers. There are cops on horseback in the woods near the lake but never saw an actual police boat patrolling. Maybe I'm just lucky and live in a rural enough area. Not that I commit DUI type crimes but sometimes you want to just jump on the jet ski real quick and not grab the life jacket 🤷 I forget that you're supposed to wear one "at ALL times". Makes sense for small children or elderly people but if you can swim and the water is calm/shallow it's simply an inconvenience to wear it all day. Sorry for the rant lol just saying, my only "contingency plan" is to have a lifejacket nearby in case the cops show up. These people in the video might also be from a rural area where cops barely make their presence known

Yep, if you did not drink you should never do the tests but the breathalyzer. They should not be allowed to take you in, there will be no official reason. You have 0.00. you are not intoxicated and there is no point to check the impairment from no intoxication. If they take you in it will be false arrest, it will have to be expunged and you win some compensation If you did drink but you are not impaired like she wasn’t, you should do all the tests but the breathalyzer. You proved no impairment so there will be no point to check your bac and no reason to take you in If you have no other signs of impairment except some smell, like she hadn’t, it will be false arrest and will be expunged.
