I am slightly confused if the nhs A+E department's are overflowing and ambulances are stuck in carparks because they are unable to drop there patients off due to the lack of beds or staff, how can a basic service level be introduced when the present level does not already meet that criteria. Surely the government will have to prosecute themselves for dereliction of duty while serving in public office.

Please read up on the pfi agreement that Labour put on the NHS because those private companies that Blair got to run NHS hospitals are literally bleeding the NHS dry. You need to look at the debt that Labour left the NHS in and how many hospitals Labour gave to private companies, this isn't Labour bashing as both parties have done great harm to the NHS over the year's but Labour aren't the shining light of help to the NHS that many think. Do read up on what Tony Blair did to the NHS GP surgeries, up and down the country, as 1/3 were sold out to American health care businesses to stimulate competition! (What competition is there for GP surgeries?) And you can guess which surgeries in the UK don't have a full time doctors and have the largest backlogs.

There has always been enough money. It's a CHOICE to let people die in hospital corridors and let people watch their relatives die on the floors of their homes waiting for an ambulance that never arrives. It was always a choice. This is the tories. There really isn't any other word for them other than evil. It's all about self enrichment. They CHOOSE to let billionaires and massive international corporations get away with paying ZERO TAX, they CHOOSE to let the rich hide their money offshore, they CHOOSE to accept bribes and give tax breaks to the mega rich year after year after year and therefore they CHOOSE to let people DIE in exchange. The rate of tax for the most wealthy in the UK needs to be what it was during the 50's and 60's. 90%+. When they tell you there isn't any money to fund the NHS and public services or pay a living wage, know that there is, and always has been plenty of money, it's just they've chosen to give it to the mega rich year after year in terms of decades worth of tax cuts and financial loopholes instead. These are the same parasites that contribute the least to our society. Meanwhile nurses and firefighters, doctors, ambulance drivers are told to accept a real terms pay cut of 8% when the cost of living has increased by over 30%. The real scroungers and benefit cheats aren't the little guys or a tiny percentage of asylum seekers risking their and their children's lives crossing the channel looking for a better life. They consume a tiny percentage of money and generally speaking these are the same people who are contributing most to society, both socially and in terms of labour. The real benefit cheats and scroungers are the richest, who don't have to lift a finger to gain interest on their already bulging bank accounts, who've never put in an honest days work in their life. Who are currently making RECORD PROFITS yet pay the absolute bare minimum taxes or better still, hide it all offshore. It's the rich who've been allowed to suck the life blood from the UK's decaying infrastructure, public services and ultimately now, its citizens. They will keep sucking until there is nothing left. The tories have consistently chosen to enrich themselves and their friends, making the rich richer and the poor poorer. It’s theft of the public purse and it will never be enough. They will always want more money at the expense of OUR quality of life. Whether that's our universal health + social care(NHS), fair wages, public safety. There is always something more they can snatch from the public without most people ever noticing. It's literally SHRINKFLATION but on a national scale. Same price and the packaging all looks the same from the outside but when you open it up(or you need to actually use these public or emergency services) you find they've halved in weight and hollowed out everything great between the Toblerone pieces that make us the UK. That lot must have cost NHS £100 K and put more pressure on over worked Staff. GPs have got no time for you, they just fob you off with bundles of Antibiotics you dont need and you end up calling NHS 111who send you to AnE where you are told " you have a who bunch of Issues going on and they are all related to some thing , it is up to your GP to sort it out and we can do that here" So that is what is Mutiplied across NHS.and costing Billions which could pay the Nurses fair Wage

My 93 year old mother in law suddenly lost all feeling in her legs and started vomiting. The ambulance eventually came and drove to 3 hospitals, including a major teaching hospital, who all refused to take her. After 8 terrifying hours in the ambulance, she was taken home to sleep in her own bed . 3 days later she got into hospital and started treatment. Thank god it wasn't a stroke and I think the urgent medicine got to her in time. These tories are murderers
