Fun fact... right next door to the "Art Deco" McDonalds is a brothel. You can see the black and white sign in the back right near the parking lot in one of the photos. Melbourne's a hell of a city. Get a happy ending with your happy meal! (I've visited that McDonalds not the other place)

Having been to Chessington and being bri'ish, I can confirm that the vampire McDonald's no longer exists. It is now its own restaurant owned by the theme park themselves, but I can't remember the name, it's probably called Dracula's Diner or something. The cool rollercoaster is there too! (it's called the vampire)

Ahh, this unlocked a memeory. I used to go to a McDonalds that had saddle seats [ not sure if it was the one talked about in the video or not ]. It was loosely saloon themed if I recall correctly, and young me loved to go there just to sit on the saddle seats. So cool to see Brazil twice in the video, we do have some pretty cool mcdonalds. I went to the funky looking one twice, it is located in a very nice touristic town in the south, but never to the méqui 1000, even though I live in São Paulo. I remember it was a huge deal when it opened because it is the 1000th mcdonalds. Also, méqui is the Brazilian nickname for mcdonalds, so this is why it's written there.

1:57 Oh my god, you just awoken something in me. In fact, it is a very nostalgic and strange feeling. After the dentist as a child I was always hungry, we'd stop by the near McDonalds. This was the Mcdonalds. I've seen this picture but with my own eyes. In the back there is a huge playset which was the best thing ever and I wanted to spend hours in. It was a nice place.

The méqui 1000 building is located in the city of Sao Paulo in Brazil and it is the 1000th McDonald's built (i don't know if it's internationally or nationally) It is one of the most different McDonald's out there, so much so that they actually have exclusive menu items such as: Coke McFlurry, Pie flavored McShakes and a whole menu dedicated to onion rings (you ain't finding onion rings at your local Mac).

If you're looking to go there be aware that 1- it's located in the "Avenida Paulista" 2- it's normally pretty full so go in the morning 3- Take some photos, both of you and the menu 4- bring some extra money, things there might be a bit expensive, so if you want those exclusive menu items, i recommend bringing some extra money 5- if you can, try staying at that Airbnb nearby

@2:10 --- the "Denton house" McDonalds is located in New Hyde Park NY long island, I've gone to that one with a friend its mind blowing the history of the house since they only use the main floor for dining the upper floor is closed off to everyone to preserve the house, I think they have it kept up in condition for history behind the house since it was built during a time of settlers building homes and such, there are some other areas on long island that were built earlier or later than the Denton House

There's a McDonald's in New Hyde Park, NY that's occupied in a Georgian-style mansion that was originally a farmhouse in the late 18th century. In 1988, it became a landmark structure, meaning the exterior needed to be preserved during multiple renovations. It's quite a classy bit of architecture for a fast-food place. You could take your prom date there after the dance.

I've actually been to a McDonald's similar to the Turkish overpass McDonald's shown in the video a few times. It's called the Will Rogers archway, a rest stop near Vinita, Oklahoma that stretches across the Will Rogers turnpike, which is part of Interstate 44. It was once just a McDonald's but as of present day, while the McDonald's still exists, it now also contains a Kum & Go convenience store and a Subway, as well as a small museum dedicated to Will Rogers. It was actually once the largest McDonald's before a larger McDonald's was built in Orlando, Florida

One of my neighbors has a Ronald McDonald’s on their balcony, but sadly no restaurant to call home. Lonely and alone, every once in a while Ronald is seen to switch positions, but his favorites are laying back like he’s getting a tan, staring off into space, and watching *you*. This has been a *mcsiting* in my local hometown. :D

Bug-loving South Alabama resident here! The boll weevil ronal macdonal doesn’t really vary much from other locations, but the statue itself is one of many painted boll weevil statues spread all around the city of enterprise(same concept as the garfield statues in marion indiana). The boll weevils were made a symbol of the area due to a huge outbreak of them that destroyed entire fields of crops. Cotton was the most valuable crop to Alabamians at the time, so when the boll weevils started absolutely FLOURISHING in it, farmers looked to greener pastures and examples from other states and started growing peanuts, which was valuable AND didn’t allow for much more pest growth. A little over 100 years later, the boll weevil is the symbol of enterprise, alabama because it inspired our great-grandparents to continue improving just when they thought things would only get worse. TLDR alabama farmers in the early 1900s lost a shitton of money in cotton to boll weevils, started an even better venture, and now you can come to McDonald’s and take a selfie with a beloved Ronald McDonald boll weevil
