There is an old Iraqi saying that my Mom always used: All fruits enters your body and greets the heart, except the pomegranate, they enter your body and the heart greets them!

I studied the benefits of pomegranate earlier this year and I've been hooked on it. I use a manual citrus juicer and I'm able to get a lot of juice out using that apparatus. There are some seeds left over in the pomegranate but they can be consumed, pomegranate seeds are rich in fiber so it is very good for you. Great video bro

The delicious fruit pomegranate is mentioned in the Quran three times: (Surah Al Anaam, chapter 6, verse 99 and 141 - Surah Ar-Rahman, chapter 55, verse 68). It has a beautiful structure with gem-like beauty covered within layers resembling a honeycomb

I love pomegranate! ❤ I recommend using something like a stone flint knife to cut open the pomegranate. Steel knives tend to oxidise the pomegranate seeds. A sliver of a knapped stone is very sharp and can easily cut into the skin of the pomegranate around 2.5mm deep. Then pry the pomegranate apart.

Firstly, I must say thank you for the educational value content in this video. Secondly, I'm jamaican, so you know we change the names of a few things to fit our lives. We know the original name is Pomegranate but we call it "PANGANAT". The intricacies of cutting with a knife I've never done, you slap it hard on a stone and tear away and enjoy. It is a delicious fruit though 😋.

Thank you for the video. I cut it the same way you do. What I do differently after that is I gently remove the seeds with my fingers in a large bowl of water. Then I do what you are showing, you can remove the white part that floats up. Gently detaching the seeds directly in water prevents the splatter. I use a strainer to remove the water after I am done. I have heard that if you eat pomegranate seeds and dates at the same time, that this is a powerful plaque reverser. Not sure if thats true but the combination of both eaten together is delicious anyways.

I’m an type 2 diabetic with high blood pressure. Now I understand why my doctor suggested I start eating pomegranate. I don’t know for sure but since he is from Nepal, medicinal use of pomegranate my be a part of his cultural heritage. Have to ask next time I see him.

Excellent video! Thanks for all the knowledge shared in it. I used to drink the extract to help me fighting hyperpigmentation on my skin and it works wonders. I will start using it again. Success! 🙏🏾
