I just subscribed to your channel. I always loved the G8. I actually have the little brother to your car the Pontiac G5 gt sedan. I bought it new off the lot in 2007 . It has been garage stored always and no winter driving. I'm in the process of restoring it including complete suspension upgrades and also purchased a supercharger kit from ZZperformance which uses the same m62 eaton supercharger off of the Chevy cobalt ss supercharged coupe. This is a sick build. I am from Australia so seeing this happen overseas is fantastic. Is there any chance you could tell me what borla mufflers you used? I love how it sounded in that drive video a year ago!

I used their cat back system, bought it used years ago. It’s great with the cut out , I can be loud pulling into a car meet then quiet when in my neighbourhood

Do you use a bought turbo kit or is it custom-built I was looking for single turbo kits but can't seem to find any

It was custom but is now a complete kit, Cartunning Performance is owned by friend he is the one who makes it. It’s the best single turbo kit you will find in my opinion. I’ve had it on my car for almost 4 years and still no issues.

could you share a pic or video of the space cut out of the tire well for ZL1 diff? curious if they would co-exist in my setup . Also did you do anything with the diff electronic control? i am guessing it works just fine if you leave it all disconnected. thanks

No we didn’t, I wish we did. The highest trim model we got for the g8 was the Gxp
