Not quite. If you don't have the money, you wait till you have and then get the Porsche. In the meantime, you DO NOT get the MY.

Sad story is that this is the treatment Polestars are getting all the time... And the fun part is that the actual comparison PS3 vs Cayenne and PS4 vs Macan EV is also not apples to apples as the Polestars are much cheaper for almost the same?? Maybe like 90-95% of the Porsche experience, except the badge, etc..

I'm in the market for a new car, and while the Tesla drives beautifully, Porsche is just a classic that can't be messed with. I'm not a fan of the huge screen in the Tesla or the minimalism of their interiors either. The Macan looks incredibly gorgeous. I was all set to get the new 2024 Macan S (ICE), but then the EV came out, so now I'm waiting till my local dealership gets them in so I can take it for a test drive before purchasing. All in all, I'm sooo psyched to get the Macan. You can't go wrong with Porsche!

May I know why MY was compared with Macan? You can buy two MY with the price pf Porsche. If you are rich , go for Porsche. Otherwise MY is the best option.

Thanks for the video. I am not a Tesla fan, have never driven one to be honest, but your conclusion is hard to comprehend. The Macan is more than twice as expensive. There is no justification for that price difference from a technical standpoint

Forgeting price, all can be explained easy in few words. It is when you compare CAR and COMPUTER WITH WHEELS. Nothing to add. If I have money I definitely buy Macan! If I had money just for Y, I won’t buy anyway and would be seeking for something else 😊

I have a 2020 Taycan with $45k in options. It is a dream, I have driven 80,000 miles in it. The Macan will be great and for a different audience than a Tesla. Thanks for the videos, Kris

I actually think the same points apply when you compare even some of the mainstream EVs with the Tesla. The Teslas main advantage is the supercharger network. Other than that, I don’t actually find it that compelling or appealing vs most other options. And as you mentioned I really dislike the seats and suspension tuning

I was choosing between these two at the moment. Tesla offers the charging network which is better than Porsche in that sense. Also, my kids like the open interface touch screen which is easy to use. Apart from thar, it’s a defo Porsche for now. Unless the new model Y offers better driving experience … let’s wait and see ..

Hi Kris. What extras do you think are important when considering the 4 model? Air suspension or maybe rear wheel steering are two that will make a big difference to the drive of the car. Do you agree? Any others?

I added these options: Leather Package in Black/Crayon 14 way comfort seats adaptive air suspension Glacier Ice Blue Matrix headlights with Plus+ Heated GT sports steering wheel in leather Surround View ACC Augmented Reality HUD I asked the Porsche dealer in London if I should add rear wheel steering as well. He said this really is unnecessary on a car of this size if you want to save money (which I did). He was very clear about this, so I left it out.

Funny comparison!😉😂 But I would wait for the Tesla MY Juniper to do the comparison again! If MY Juniper is nearly as good compared to MY today as the M3 is compared to previous versions, I think most of us will be more than happy with a Tesla.😉👍🏻 I'm an Audi fan, and have had an E-tron 55 S sportback for three years. Did a test drive of the M3 highland SR over approx. 65 miles and was very impressed with what they have got out of this EV. The E-tron is known for high noise comfort, and the M3 highland was almost as good. 👍🏻 But by the way, an E-tron and not to mention a Porshe will get you a lot more stares from people than a Tesla!!!😉😂😂😂 So what would I probobly go for, after spend a fortune on an EV from Audi?😳 If I'm still like stupid as before; Porsche Macan!😉😂

Love the new Porsche Macan EV, unfortunately, in a few years, depreciation will be crazy! sure in a couple or three years, it would be half of the price or less.

Of course a Porsche should be better, but I still find the infotainment system in most of them terrible and outdated. Never any OTAs, which I think they really dont know how to do. More often service due to their serviceprogram much more expensive service, way more expensive parts, makes it a much more expensive car to own. Had many Teslas, Model S, Model X and now Model YP, never any issues at all, and supereasy to deal with in all ways ..also dont underestimate what Sentry mode can do related to ex. injuries, people driving, parking in you, Plus very good Camp mode, Petmode, fantastic wintercar and on par or better than Porsches awd system, which didnt impress me. I like Porsche, but its waay overpriced, you pay alot for the name alone

Porsche all the way! I would never own a Tesla. Even if Elon had gifted it to me, I'd trade it for a Kia, which is not a Porsche but still better than a Tesla.

It should be 10k cheaper. Polestar is having really bad sale numbers. They just fired 15% of the workforce and Volvo is stepping away from the brand. Either they lower the price of the Polestar 4 or the brand will die.
