Hey nick I got a question for you, so I’m replacing mine with a used unit, would you recommend swapping over the valve bodies or would it be ok to just slap the trans in and calibrate/program it to the car?

Its a Drop in, no need to swap parts over.

Interesting that DSGs can't be rebuilt in the field but PDKs are. That is not a drain breather. That hole is for air to escape due to thermal expansion. Otherwise, the seals may fail.

That's correct. It's a breather/vent, as stated at 0.53 seconds. Disregard the misspoke in the video. There is a full description in the video description section of what occurred.
