Life is hard at the moment. And I realized I've been negative for the majority of my life. Negativity has become a subconscious habit. I know positive thinking is not about ignoring problems or not feeling hurt and sad - it's trying to look for solutions and ways to make things better... to make the best of things. I'll do my best to stick to it and I wish everyone else good luck.

thank you. thank you. thank you. I cannot thank you enough for this. I needed this at just the right time. I had to make a hard choice to let go of someone I loved, started working out five times a week but those poisonous, toxic thoughts remained. I saw my letting go of who would have been my wife as a loss, a destructive loss and immediately saw my choice as a negative. The truth is I was in an abusive relationship, I felt weak and inferior, and submitted just to hold onto what could be because I was convinced I could not do better, that I wasn't worth it. it took a lot of strength and will and hope for a better future to leave that behind me. Now, having watched this I feel, I know, my greatest obstacle has been my thinking. keeping myself in bad situations instead of seeing the potential for a better future. thank you very much for sharing even this much with the world.
@Karma77112 жыл бұрын
I've been negative for a long time and I've just tried this with my current situation - So, my biggest negative at the minute is my job. It's what I think about 85% of the time. I want out. But what are the positives? - it's growing my discipline, my patience, it's teaching me to stick at something when it isn't going how I want it to go, it's making me stronger than I was before, my social interactions in this area have improved, although I'm negative I am stronger because of this job, I'm gaining knowledge and experience, I can pay my bills with the job, I get to see all of the area I live in and loads of beautiful homes, talk to lots of different people, the jobs I do are something to be proud of. You see, that's positivity from a negative. This job is increasing my chances of getting an even better job in the future, even if it's not happening right this minute. There are so many positives out of this negative. I'm even growing my discipline to do weight training along side this job, that means I've out grown my previous capacity. I need to recognise these things. These are things to be proud of that I've overlooked.

Sometimes we are own worst enemy and created our own bad luck. I have done this with the power of my thoughts. I reacted badly, went absolutely crazy as I could of resolved things in a proper fashion. In the past now but it affected the present moment. Didn't view the problem as an opportunity, which is how is should be viewed - positive thinking if I looked at it positively. Need to change my thinking. Reactions have made me doubt myself and my ability to do my job the way it should be done. Really wish I viewed things in a different light. Response - didn't behave consciously. Great advice!

Doing the 7 day challenge involves being able to "constantly" be thinking about what you are thinking.. to actually recognize a negative thought when it hits and remember to do so every time. I really like your videos. You actually answered my question about the source of positive thinking for a negative person (like me). What you are saying here is so down to earth - indeed, everything in life can be seen as opportunity, and this is in itself a reason for positive approach. And your statement that we do not really know what is 'lucky' (or not) until the last card is played out is, honestly, genius.
@ActualizedOrg10 жыл бұрын
Good. Keep studying this stuff. And start practicing it. You won't cure your negative thinking overnight, but the tide will slowly turn as you live more and more conscious. Start practicing meditation if you want to see big results in this area. Here's how to meditate: www.actualized.org/blueprint/meditation The statement about luck is not mine, it's adopted from John Kehoe, and that classic Zen story.

I'm just now stumbling upon this video and I'm really glad I did. Your message really woke me up. I've been having a lot of trouble with negative thinking and anxiety (especially over just the last year) and I was searching for a way to rid myself of that mindset. Both the story and the "cheerfulness" quote hit me extremely hard and I found myself saying, "Oh wow.. that's absolutely right". It's incredibly difficult to think positively when you're experiencing failure or disappointment or loss of some sort.However,I have experienced that whenever I forced myself to go against my every day nature and think and cultivate positivity in that particular moment,I surpassed the obstacle somehow.In the hardest moments you have to be positive bc that is actually the only possibility you have if you want to win/ persevere/ endure what you're going through at the moment. Of course,there's still room for improvement,but essentially I managed to convince myself that positive attitude is the only acceptable option.

I have been consciously working to improve my additude towards life for a little over a year now. The changes I have made in my life are incredible. Stinking thinking is such a common additude towards life and it's hard to even be around some people because of their gloomy outlook on EVERYTHING!! So, thanks! This will be a good video to introduce the idea rather than blatantly point out that someone you care for is a miserable "naysayer". This is the first of your videos I have ever seen and you sir have a gift! Rock on!

Thanks for sharing Jason! Yeah, it can be hard to convince friends and family to follow these ideas. They have to be ready to listen. Like the saying goes, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. If you really want to convince someone to follow these ideas, you have to hit them with the grand vision, with emotion. Not logic or simple technique. You have to show them that this can revolutionize their whole life in ways they cannot even foresee right now. Here are some good videos that I made specifically for that purpose: Dream Life - What It Takes To Create An Extraordinary Life True Vision - I Reveal My Life Purpose Until You Can Feel It Cause & Purpose - What Are You Willing To Bleed For? Great video man. All my life I've been addicted to negative thoughts but recently I discovered lots of videos about changing the way that mind works. I've done the challenge and it really works. I wish that more people would benefit from videos like yours but at the end of the day it's my mind and I create my own reality. Keep it up, looking forward to more stuff of yours !

My dad had his Phd In Psychology and his masters In Philosophy. He passed down 40 years of knowledge to me. I respectfully disagree with some of your Ideas. However this is a good one. Great video. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your video. This has been really helpful to the extent that nothing else has for me. The way you deliver your ideas is so clear, easy to understand and enduring that I could not stop listening. Your ideas are realistic and practical and I realized that I use them a little already. Now I intend to use them far more and be more effective in both my understanding and practice. At last I will see improvement! Many thanks again, God bless you and what you do.

Very good video. It's start to the point, not very long lecture and not talking same thing on and on. Good examples and exercise to try. Thx
