Over 213 million people have been infected by coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. SARS-CoV-2 can damage different organs, but mainly the lungs. Most people are now well-aware of the symptoms, prevention, and treatment that are readily available online. But there are still a lot of questions and concerns raised by the COVID-19 pandemic. Have you ever wonder what happens to the lungs during and after the COVID-19 infection? Do they recover fully? Do you have to be concerned about their function?
This session of Stay Healthy Doctor Talk, Dr. Chok Limsuwat, a lung expert, shed light on this topic.

With those of you who suffer from mucus in lungs and the inability to take deep breaths, I highly suggest trying to do weight training and little bits of cardio, with a increase over time. It hasn’t cured me, but it has made some sort of difference. I went from needing a inhaler, to rarely needing one, and have the urge to cough sputum less from my lungs. This, alongside a low carb/low sugar diet has really helped me personally.

My doctor told me to walk a little everyday. I've had a couple of weeks that I haven't been able to walk and I'm feeling worse. So I concur that working out and diet are really important to getting well, even though it's hard to even get up and get moving. Press on!

Hey how are you feeling now?? I have the same problem with deep breaths, mucus and feeling like there's cotton stuck in my airways.
@mapache69.
@mapache69. Жыл бұрын
@@gorilla6099 that’s a very good question. I noticed my breathing became much better once I started incorporating a ketogenic dietary lifestyle into my day to day life. After doing a bit of research, I figured out that carbohydrates for the most part are highly inflammatory to the immune system(starches and sugar to be more precise). This, combined with weight training, has really improved my breathing. 8 months later, and honestly I felt like I had gone from breathing into a straw, to breathing something resembling “normal”. I won’t say whenever I breath, it’s as if it’s fresh mountain air, I’d be lying if I did. That being said, the improvement is outstanding, and I honestly feel like it’s improved my life. If I spat sputum like 12-20 times a day on estimate, I’d say I do it maybe 1-2 a day, and even then it’s very much less harsh on my lungs.

Yes, till date my dad is suffering with some or the other secondary infections, I'm literally dying every day seeing him suffering, none of the doctors are assessing the cause and what kind of infection it is and proper appropriate medication to it. I am clueless, heartbroken and devastated 😭

@@mounikakrishnan3445 medicine wont fix it. I had covid for close to a week, and had shortness of breathe for months. i am a frequent cannabis user but also smoke tobacco with my cannabis, which i dont recommend smoking any tobacco. Fasting, and smoking joints the only thing that helped me feel better, also spicy peppers really help relieve the tightness in the chest and shortness of breathe.

I tested positive for covid on 6/15 and initially i had dry cough. However in last 5 days my cough changed to wet and I have been continuously doing hard coughing every 2-3 min and every time I cough i have green color mucus which comes out of my lungs in my mouth which i have to spot out. When I wake up in the morning, my nose is stuffy and runny and when i sneeze out, i see yellow colored cough. I talked to doctor and she gave me Azirothomycin. However it seems like it hasnt improved the mucus along with coughing. I had Bronchitis several years ago and it feels like my coughing with mucus is exactly the same. I don't have shortness of breath or other covid symptoms. What should I do ?

Simular story I'm still on oxygen a year later. I was on a vent 38 days. Got pneumonia both lungs, lungs collapsed, blood clot in my chest,sepsis in my blood with fevers of 105. Got a tracheaotomy spent another month in hospital. Came home last year on May 10th been about a year and I'm still on oxygen.

I highly suggest trying to workout as much as possible. Doesn’t need to be anything intense, just enough to force the lungs to work harder. The harder they work, the more your body will force it to get better

Thelma, I got covid in July 2021. I was never intubated but was in icu on high flow oxygen for over a month. Became very sick after being released from ICU and was told I needed a double lung transplant and would never be off supplemental oxygen. All this was wrong. I am off oxygen now since November 2021. I still have some shortness of breath with exercise but I’m getting better. I’m starting HBOT treatments next week. I’ll keep you posted how this works. Supposed to help build new cells, blood vessels, tissue in the lungs. Hang in there. I was told my lungs would never heal but those doctors were clearing wrong. I’m so grateful I ignored their diagnosis of a lung transplant. I would have been a goner by now. I’m 53 and have no underlying problems, never smoked cigarettes and physically healthy otherwise until I got covid.

A dropp of perifereal fresh blood on a surface of a glass lamela coagulate after some minutes. The same dropp at some patients after SARS COV2 infection ,agglutinate before coagulate At microscope can be seen erytrocyte aggregation like coin rolls (sludge)but at low dropp and lamela temperature. At body temperature (37C) erytrocyte aggregation did not occur. May be like after Mycoplasma infection even after SARS COV2 infection,, low temperature agglutinine,, occur. May be Dextran40,or acetylcysteine can decrease blood viscousity?
