I kinda miss restaurants. But imagining doing it everyday and cleaning at nights makes me come to my senses

My year period on a grill and my buddy who worked as a chef for like 15 years cemented the fact I don't want to cook for a living. Too hot, too greasy, you always smell like the food afterward. The times going out after a shift were very fun, though.

@@McShag420if it’s good food what’s wrong with smelling like the food😅😂
@angel102ifyАй бұрын
@@Teekz.283 the issue is you smell like all of it at once with a notable essence of deep fat fryer thrown in for good measure.

Exactly. I do not miss it at all. Working on Holidays. Working nights only. Not getting home until 1 or 2 in the morning. The smell that never gets out of your clothes. Any exposed skin getting a thin film of oily residue. The burns. The sore feet from standing for 10 hours straight. And thats not even getting into the actual craziness of a dinner rush. No, I'm good on that.

Came here in March on a friend's recommendation while I was in London - easily my #1 food recommendation during my stay. Super cool that I can keep up with you guys on YT too. The food, the drinks, the service and the atmosphere all top notch! I'm not sure I would have the cod's head again at 1:46 (sumptuous but a bit too overwhelming for me lol), but I would definitely love to come back and explore more of the menu

I wish I liked fish. After getting a load of bones as a lad from a fish at the local chippy, I've never tried any type of fish again. 50 years later and I still haven't. The same as milk, at primary school in Lancashire many years ago they gave me a curdled bottle of small milk, never touched it since. Brilliant video and those ribs look ridiculous! Will have to plan a trip to London.

I wish these types of POV videos during a regular shift at a restaurant was available back during MPW and Gordon Ramsey's days. I would pay extra to warch the candid and unedited craziness of those 2 when actual film crews weren't there.

Where do you get your seafrood from? Cods head is something we serve in Norway. The cods tongue is considered a delicacy here and is quite expensive. I'm sure with your expertise you could do something real nice with it. We do it quite simple and make a salt-pepper flour mix and sear the tongue in butter. Quite the snacks especially if we cought it fresh ourselves. :)

the pass videos are really enjoyable to watch, ive said this since the first one. its a shame they arent longer shame its not more often however what's surprising, and others may not realise. these videos compared to the first one do i think 1/4 the views that their other videos, and im now guessing thats why they dont do these pass ones on a weekly or fortnightly basis. or maybe, if they did do them on a regularly basis, just like a tv show, people would provide more views to them.
