Did power jerks in my Beginner level 1 Catalyst program yesterday. I wish this video was there instead of the other one. This one explains so much more! Love it!

After watching this video, I can see that I’ve been attempting the power jerk incorrectly the whole time. My max was 90kg. I didn’t think to bend at the knees twice - I used to only bend at the knees once to jerk the weight up. But I can see that these athletes bend at the knees a second time very quickly to help get under the bar fully. If this works… I’ll be so annoyed that I didn’t see this video earlier 😂

Is there triple extension when going into the wider squat stance, or is it an actual jump?

never an actual jump - we/re not trying to elevate the body's center of mass, just put upward force into the bar.
