Financial stuff is good for PL. I recently failed a bench attempt Started thinking about Sunak’s IR35 reforms, corp tax and dividend tax hikes to psyche up. came back and smoked it.

Yes all three heads of the triceps extend the elbow, yet the long head does also work with the lats to extend the arm behind you. Doing extensions overhead puts the long head on stretch

Hey Hadyn, Hope you are well man. Awesome vids so far. Can I ask, what are some of the new skills you are looking to learn? Would you upload any videos of these when you start to learn them. Checked some of your skateboarding vids and you were awesome
@HadynWiseman

There's a ton of stuff I learn which I could upload but it would be so out of the niche for my channel that KZbin then wouldn't push it to people and nor my normal content as it's not sure what my niche is

So its like an insurance to buy something in the future for a set maximum price. If the price is lower you earn some money, but if its higher than expected the one giving the insurance lose money.
@HadynWiseman
@HadynWiseman 11 ай бұрын
No you just agree the price of something. It could be lower than it is now, higher, or the same. But in reality you just trade the difference on price from your expectation to what it actually becomes. Rather than buying or selling the physical product

My man dropping an Introduction to financial markets lecture while benching 🤣 Always nice to follow your journey and that type of funny content. On a more semi serious level, to some extent the rise/promotion stop and it only comes with more responsabilities/workload, etc. that's where you gotta keep thinking about the higher tax brackets. If you can't find a way to turn things around, getting a x amount raise for y amount of work and responsabilities where you gonna only earn x/2. Financialy speaking you are still better off for sure but nonetheless the juice might not worth the squeeze. To some extent, there is an analogy with your talk about the elite. One can have the potential to be at the top, like you in pl, but if to do so you need to abandon everything to gain those last kilos that might not worth it. It's like each kilos you gain is tax at 50% then 60% and so on. Well you are far more knowledgeable than me on those tax subject but imho not a lot of people assume that and not that higher tax will make you lose money cause higher tax brackets but I might be wrong though. Regards man
@HadynWiseman
@HadynWiseman 11 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for the lengthy comment. You're right about promotions and if they come with more work. But sometimes if you get more skilled you can have a promotion that doesn't mean more hours necessarily. I think some people have the mentality to abandon everything in the name of a sport or hobby, in fact they kinda have to to be at the top. From my experience a lot of people think you will get everything taxed in the higher bracket but maybe I'm just surrounded by idiots haha

Difference between future and forward for the next log please
@HadynWiseman
@HadynWiseman 11 ай бұрын
Futures are the ones available to trade by the public, so a bit more regulated. Forward is exactly the same but negotiated privately so I could go to a bank and agree to buy Euros next month for GBP at a set rate from them. That would be a forward.
