To make the barrel "thread insert" to stop spinning. Remove the screw from the rear sight and insert a longer screw. That screw will bottom out against the outer threaded part in the breach of the barrel and will stop it from rotating when mounting the barrel. Just bought one of these pistols and it is suprising how accurate and easy to tune this thing is.

The Huma is probably the more precise of the 2 regulators, and in a dual regulator setup, I think the point is to increase the downstream regulators pressure regulation precision.

Also did you adjust your regulator at all? May have set it to high. To be able to adjust the regulator you will need to drop the pressure in the gun down to almost empty. Make sure there is nothing in the barrel and also point in a safe direction. You will have to take a rubber mallet or Hamer with a block of wood and hit the hammer while it's up against the valve. Start off will soft hits and work up in strength until you start to hear air go out the barrel. Continue this until the air pressure is gone in your air tube. Then adjust the regulator Allen screw counter clockwise to drop the regulator pressure. Hopefully this will help and I have explained it OK. Let us know if it worked or what you have found

@@mtairgunner4044 video is excellent and this reg adjustment info is great too. Q: Is this process of emptying air completely to adjust reg necessary every time to adjust up or down? Q: Also to get max usable power, is there a formula such as fully turn in then back out 'x' rotations so that washers work? Thanks.
@mtairgunner4044
@mtairgunner4044 2 жыл бұрын
@@stephenoshea1166 if you have the stock regulator you don't have to degas to increase the reg pressure. To lower the reg pressure it is safer for the reg to degas and then adjust down.
@mtairgunner4044
@mtairgunner4044 2 жыл бұрын
@@stephenoshea1166 For max power there really isn't a easy formula to get max power. The best way is to increase your hammer spring first a little bit and then shoot over a chronograph. Once you hammer spring is to hard then you would loosen the hammer spring back to where it started at then increase the reg a 1/8 turn. Then you would start adjusting the hammer spring again checking over the chronograph. You will keep doing these until you get the speeds your looking for. There will become a spot where when you increase reg and hammer spring you will not increase fps any more once you get to that spot you will decrease everything just a bit to be right at your max speed, this will make sure your not wasting air for your max fps. Gateway to airguns also has some good writeups about doing this and you can also search airgun Nation and will also find some good info. Hopefully this helps and is not to confusing.

It could, thats why when lubing the O'rings you should use a lube that is synthetic grease or oil. I have been using Super Lube O ring silicone lubricant. I do use oil on the outside parts and do a light coat with oil to help prevent rust or corrosion.

Did you drill out the transfer port on the block at 18.24? Yours looks like its 4mm or so, mine is only 1.5-2mm at most. I'm only getting around 4ftlbs out of mine. I've tried to tighten the hammer tension to increase power and although it did a bit the hammer wouldn't always engage as I think it was over wound. I've turned it back to 4ftlbs for now. Would it help by drilling the transfer port out a little bit?

@@mtairgunner4044 I've drilled out the port to 4mm and the power issue is solved. I have another question, is there anyway to adjust the original reg to flatten out the power curve, spike? It starts at 5.6ftlbs but when it gets close to 115 bar it briefly jumps up to 8ftlbs. I can see the adjustment screw in the trigger guard, would turning this help? If so, would i turn this clockwise or anti clockwise.
@mtairgunner4044
@mtairgunner4044 3 жыл бұрын
@@Andrew-qn8fu I think this is because you are down past the regulator setting. You can go down some on the regulator setting to get a few more shots. To decrease the regulator you will go counter clockwise and to increase the regulator is clockwise. It is a good idea to degass the gun before going down with the regulator, as it could cause problems with the regulator. When increasing you do not need to worry about degassing it.
