Thank you this was very helpful , new forscan user and had 0 issues changing a few settings. If you are tuned like i am the only thing you need to do is get the part number for your BCM which you can google, no need to take off kickpanels or anything. I have a Gen1 Raptor and once i put in the part number i was good to go.

If you read and open the modules that are NOT labeled "AS BUILT", then you do not have to deal with the spreadsheet style or changing numerical code. You will get the simplified text parameters, and drop down menus of textual explanations of options to enable or disable certain things. Its MUCH simpler.

Your videos are great and very informative. I have a 2003 Lincoln Navigator and a 2011 Ford Taurus SEL. My interest is mostly for diagnostics, such as misfires, etc.. The Navigator is now 20 years old. With that in mind, will ForScan take care of diagnostics for both vehicles? Thanks for the feedback.

Why do some of the rows have "RESTORE" & "WRITE" and others don't? I'm trying to change my Bronco Badlands to have the sport mode but that row doesn't have "READ""WRITE" to the right of it. In those cases do you just use the "WRITE ALL" towards the bottom of the screen?

I recently added foldable mirrors with heat, puddle lamps, spotlight, and turn signals on my 2020 F-150 XLT. Changed the door jumpers, modules, and switches as needed. When I hook up FORScan it only finds 3 modules, PCM, ACM, and APIM. Says 3 DTCs in PCM which are the new door modules (2) and Invalid Data from Body Control Module. Says Unable to Read for the ACM and APIM DTCs. I do have a custom tune so I wasn't sure if I needed to reinstall factory tune just to access. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I need help! Where did you get that data sheet for your truck that shows all the values in what to put in to change? I have a 2015 Ford Fusion Titanium 2.0 turbocharged and im trying to enable navigation on my screen. I see ford trucks use a certain line and it doesn't work for me with Sync 3. I have no idea what to change and what to. How do I get a list of all these values???

Hi i do have a question, so i have an issue with my TCU on my 2019 ford ecosport, for some reason the ford pass wifi has been disabled and says its not installed anymore. Anyway i purchased forscan, went to check the as built data using forscan and it was completely different to what is currently in the TCU. I cant work out why this would be different? So i haven't done it yet. When the old module has had software updates from ford would this change the as built data? Does the as built data on motacraft site contain any updates? Or do software updates have no effect on as built data? Thanks for reading

Have a question but.... FIRST Thank YOU for the very educational video in using FORScan and the describing the difference between the (factory as is data) vs the Blank data! But, when I hook up FORScan for example and look at say "folding mirrors" which shows Disabled..... However, I know my folding mirror currently work. . . . If I enable... will that shut down the folding mirrors? Just a bit confused... Thanks!

When programming modules, can you load the AS BUILT data straight from the forescan tab that says "load as built data" or do you need to get it from the ford service website first?

Very good video. Very informative. I have a 21 Ford raptor. Which has the amber DRL lights. I saw something about brightness on the DRLs I think it says 60% to 75%. Does that mean I can turn the brightness up on my DRLs. And can I turn the brightness on the three extra amber lights which come with the raptor also in the fender flares Amber lights can they all be turned up brightness wise with four scan.

I noticed the IPM (image processing module) on the extra list of functions. Does it off the feature to calibrate the IPM? I own an autoglass company and this would be a cool feature to experiment with. (I also use the Autel Calibration tool so nobody get there panties in a bunch)

I have a 2018 ford fusion hybrid. The touch screen went black on it after I did an update. The tech I talked to about it said it may have happened due to corrupt download software update that I recently did over my WiFi. I already checked the fuse under the dash as well and it was good. He said he it was probably “bricked” and not a bad APIM but probably just shut down to protect. Can this Forescan software allow me to reset the software back to factory setting and program Modules in the car? I was considering getting it because my dad also has a F150 and has to go to the dealer several times because of issues with it. And I would love to help him out as well with this software if it can do all this.
