It took me yrs as an adult to try a piece but once I did I loved it so much. I've never made my own (still can't get a pie dough recipe down 😔) so store bought it has to be. I wasn't even a fan of pecans. Today? If you haven't made his German chocolate cake you might want to give that one a go too... 😋

@@tammiemartinez6485 honestly..store bought pecan pie is pretty darn good compared to homemade and pecans are so expensive it's a good value. And if you just can't get pie dough, Pillsbury pie dough is really good and I'm super picky about pie crust. My mom always told me that some people just can't make pie crust..it's how life works lol. I can make a decent one but Pillsbury is so good I feel like it's just not worth the trouble.

I made this just now, omg it's soooooo goooooood! The pie crust fought me but I got it in the pie plate and pre-baked it. I had a smidge of filling left over so I dipped the baked extra crust in it and it was DELICIOUS!

I did this recipe and it was bomb! 10/10 recommend. I didn't do the crust, i used a frozen store bought one, but it was too small for the recipe, i recommend putting the extra into tiny shell crusts(miniature pie crust.) All the pecan pies that I'll bake will be done by this recipe, its truly scrumptous. Also recommend to follow the directions on the cartboard box of the pie crust, I pre-baked mine for 8 min. My pie was not soggy and was perfectly cooked.
