I akipped magnus, because all the stock pohtography being against a white background made his head guns vanish so he looked vastly misproportioned. Now I'm just mad about it, but at least I have the Combiner Wars IDW UM, and a G1 trailer with the white Classics Optimus rapaint cab to stick into it. (and a WFCS UM who hasn't been out of the toy closet since about a month after I got him, but I really should sell that guy off.)

To me, that Rodimus is the absolute star (Rodimus Star... eheh, didn't even mean to make that pun) of those reveals. I love the IDW design and I wanted a transforming figure of that for AGES; I bought the SXS Hot Flame and, while it looks gorgeous, I cannot transform it: the left leg wheel hinge snapped straight out of the box and, since then, every time I attempt to transform it, I have to take a screwdriver, disassemble both legs to pull out the wheels and then reassemble them, the clearence is just nonexistent. IDW Rodimus is, hands down, the BEST design the character ever had and it deserves a good toy. This will be pricey, but I soooo hope this time we can finally strike gold.

Idk if I'll get them, but they're still awesome! I love all the details and colors! The altmodes are great! Optimus's headsculpt is great, too! Megs's accessories are so cool, too! SS86 Optimus, from what we can see here, looks great! Very cool! Piano-ptimus Prime! XD He looks better than KGDM, but not super drastically, which is good. I have KGDM Optimus and love him to bits and will never ever sell him, even if I get SS86, which Idk if I will, to be completely honest. PSA: Everyone, don't sell off your ER/KGDM Optimuses just for this one! You can have both in the collection! Both are great Optimus Prime figures! Both can have a place in your collection! If you really, really, truthfully are willing to part with your KGDM Optimus, then I cannot stop you, that is completely fine. Just remember, tho, that both are great and deserve a place in your collection! Besides, KGDM is more-so G1-based, while SS86 is G1-full, so you don't need to sell one to get the other or anything. Also, the other figures look cool, but not really my thing. Rodimus is cool. Bingo-ptimus Prime looks weird, but cool! G1 Hot Rod would've fit better, tbh.
