Catching up on videos, I was hospitalized again.... well, I just want to mention to Andy...... Lots of Loves to you, and Frack Cancer... You got this ! Glad you didn’t do anything major on that fall! Could have been much worse! 💕 So the tunnels leading away from the property? I am told most of them were used to bring in Royalty or actors that didn’t want anyone to know they were there... what do you think? That would also match with the large hooks, so staff could hang lanterns on them to tour the gardens at night. Night walks were big back then. Not like they had movie theatres or many places to go. Really loved that place! My daughter was named after Grace Kelly! And my wedding dress was made by the same designer who made Ms. Kelly’s clothing. So blessed! Andrew take care!!! 29:10 - it’s terracotta that has been vitrified in a way that it makes it waterproof for outdoor use without needing a high gloss glaze like the stuff we see here in the UK. A bit like Wedgwood Jasperware (Wedgwood actually took a lot of inspiration from Italian Etruscan pottery for his Jasperware)

I thought this was a tragic loose of a beautiful old mansion, then I heard the history of it. They had the right idea, burn it down! Never romanticize true evil. A very beautiful symbolic building and it's a shame the owners could not have kept it in better condition by keeping the roof, doors and windows intact and turned into a hotel, celebrations and wedding venues with all the beautiful gardens. What a waste.

Did some research on this place and unfortunately they will not be doing any renovations on this place because of where it’s situated. It’s built near an area that has suffered from mudslides, taking out several homes around this place so it’s seen as too high a risk to restore. A historical society tried get the house restored at a cost of 6 million euros,but it never happened because the superintendency for the cultural heritage said the neighboring mountains are of medium to high risk. Really sad it’s left to crumble!

Oh WOW! I didn't really have time but just couldn't get myself away from this video it's marvelous. I just love the house with it's secrets and mysteries. I fell over today so I know how you was feeling. I have a swollen knee and a bleeding elbow. I don't know what caused me to fall over, one moment I'm heading to the kitchen then thump I'm the floor. Maybe the ghost pushed me lol Upset my dog too. I'm laying on the floor he's licking my face and I thought aww that's sweet he does love me lol I think I will be watching the video again. I'm curious about the old kitchen ,you swung the camera around a bit too fast. lol I'd love to poke around the gardens with a metal detector and look around for old outside privy pits.
