When you turn on the bleed on it allows the ink to go over the edge so that if the cut is off a bit it won’t show the white edge. It will look like a blob when you print but the cut will be crisp.
@whiskeyblack8065 жыл бұрын
Is there a way to make it cut, with or without bleed, so that you do have a white outline like a regular sticker?
@TroliciaPelotilla5 жыл бұрын
Whiskey Black Try putting an „almost white“ (not 100% white) border on your stickers when you design them. That should work.

Do you ever get stickers that aren’t cut perfectly? Like 1/8-1/4 inch off? My bleed is on too. Also, my cricut is calibrated perfectly.

Thank you so much Corinne- I am a newbie, printed my design on my printer independently of my design space and then tried to line it up and cut it. Rookie mistake #1. Then I tried printing without the bleed on as you suggested & the type was way too faint... but I the 3rd time I printed it (on Design Space) I used the option to use my printer preferences Epson 2550 and used High Quality Print, and emphasis thin type and it came out crisp & sharp. I did not know my beautiful cut vinyl would not be suitable for the coffee cups I was planning to put them on.... so glad I watched your video until the end (or I totally would have wasted my time & given my "peeps" an inferior gift.

I just upgraded to a Cricut Explore Air and now my mind is blown with what it can do. Wow!
@beckiewalker39056 жыл бұрын
I bought the explorer air 2 last year as well as the crafters companion Gemini jr. It has been about a year or very close to it and I am to scared to open the box. I have know idea where to start, but I know it's the card making I had wanted it for so long for. But the transfer sheets, foils, iron on glitters ..... oh my. The thought about opening things up both excite me and terrify me. I want to emboss, but then there's the heat thingy and so for last year I bought the monthly make a card kit- sends you basically everything to make 8 to 10 cards a month. Well I just started my subscription back up as my dad passed, then hubby & I bought a home - most crafting stuff is still packed in garage. But I really really want to get busy with it - one of the other reasons was to cut fabric quicker to make quilts. My dad bought me a new sewing machine for my birthday and we had no room as we lived together with my mom n dad and our 2 kids then hubby and me. Parents had upstairs and we had downstairs, worked out perfect. I just didnt have crafting or sewing space like I will have soon. Your work is beautiful. I have a lap top but not on it much, we have wireless printer but have to get things set up. I'm just a hands on learner and scared I'll really mess things up.

@eliseskepper78773 жыл бұрын
as this was from 2018 - If you want your individual images bigger you can cut them apart (either before loading in to cricut or in there with shapes) so you can make each as big as possible for the cutter. You can also just rotate it 90*degrees.... so its a straight rotation.

Corinne Blackstone how did you make it do it didn’t cut out the blank spaces within each flower? I’m trying to cut out stickers that are rectangle shape with info inside, and it keeps wanting to cut around all the inside info. Other than using the erase tool when I upload (which is tedious) I was wondering if there’s a faster way. Thanks!
