Not sure on the c models, but i think they have the same processor as the qn90b, which is an awful tv for sub 4k gaming - No option of 4:3 aspect ratio and significantly worse image quality/upscaling with game mode switched on. Not so bad if the gaming device does 4k upscaling, but otherwise not good.

I got the 55" Q60C on sale for only $49 more than the Crystal CU8000, which was also on sale. I'm not using my TV for gaming, just watching streaming services, and the difference in the picture was certainly worth the extra money. The TV only cost me $548. If it was at full retail I wouldn't have bought it.

Q60c is still good for gaming, I also had it and it ran smooth on game mode. I upgraded to a qn85c because people said it would be better for gaming but honestly after I trade it in and paid a shit tun of cash I didn't really notice a difference in gaming, I guess that extra millisecond isn't really worth paying 450 more. Especially if it's just a small detail. At least the q60c can bump up to 60hz and that's basically a lil above standard with how tvs used to be.

I have the Q70 55-inch. Samsung Smart TV for 2 weeks. Excellent, not too expensive and not too cheap, just under a 1000 TV's are so amazing now. You actually sometimes feel like you're inside the scene yourself. It looks so amazingly like you're there. I highly recommend this t v for anybody who doesn't want to spend thousands on a TV That's also good quality

I wouldn’t recommend that model tbh. The 70C is the borderline model to reaching a backlit full array, being the 80C. The Q80C is a far superior model for the difference in price, especially for a $100 price difference. For those interested in that model, don’t cheat yourself, either save up for that model or wait for it to go on sale.

Here in India, I got the same for just under $750. Q80C is not available here and for some strange reason, Q60 costs more than Q70C for the same size.

We have the 65 inch and the glaring problem with these TVs is all the preloaded apps - like 10 WHICH YOU CAN'T DELETE - which all consume far too much memory to allow the TV to work efficiently. We are forever having to go into diagnostics and delete cache. Yes, that fixes the problem, but it's super annoying that it has to be done weekly.

Just got the QN85C at Costco with total 5 yr. warranty included. Although the QN90C has better brightness I just don’t see how the 85C could be seen as lacking in any way at all in that area. It’s plenty bright as it is, and puts out an awesome picture. I’ll just pocket the $400 difference.

Thanks for the video. I am pretty much out of the tech loop, but my sweetie saw a new Samsung TV at her brother's house and was impressed. He talked it up to her and her heart is set on a new TV. We don't have cable TV, just Internet cable, and 99% of what we watch is Netflix or Amazon which originates (here) on our WiFi and is cast to the TV from the phone(s). Will she be disappointed with the quality of the shows coming from the phone(s) or would it be worth hooking back up to cable TV? I just don't want to have all the "bells and whistles" and not be able to use them. Thoughts? Questions? Thanks in advance.

Bought the Q80A for $800usd refurbished. (75") Liked it so much, I got another one in 65" for $650 refurbished. Both came with a two year warranty from MicroCenter for $100usd more. I consider that a great deal!!!! And this week, my son broke an old Hisense 65" and I found a Q70A, 75" refurbished for $800. So, if you can get a refurbished unit, do not hesitate, if you can get a good warranty. Samsung warranty sucks and the process is very painful. MicroCenter is right down the street and makes warranty work painless.

I bought a CU8000 65' tonight. Good price and best of all is Samsung TV+. That TV+ is why I would not but other brands. It's a fantastic lineup of channels with lot's of "guy" orientation.

I pick up the QN85C in 55" for 755€ yesterday here in Spain and let me tell you that going from a Q80B 55" from last year (which I sold for 450€ to a friend who wanted a fairly big TV for his small salon only for movies and TV shows ) it was absolutely an amazing experience due to astonishing black levels, yes even if my panel it's an IPS (we are not in 2018 anymore and mini led IPS panels are actually better than VA ones in my opinion) the black levels are insane and in rivalry with any OLED in the market do to the amazing local dimming and tone mapping on static and playing a bit with gama curve and shadow details and the color gamut coverage it's also native 10bits instead of the last year models that have 8bits +FRC which was worse and resulting in some color banding in some models.. This year model it's way better than the last year QN85B in ever way possible too and who tells you otherwise has no idea what is talking about and what actually Samsung did in this new model when it comes to coating and local dimming being way superior resulting in astonishing black levels.

The QN95C is Samsung's best kept secret. KG, I dont know if you remember me telling you about that insane deal I got on the QN90B 85" earlier in the year, but after installing my QN90B I noticed there was a ton of DSE. I contacted Samsung about it, and they were going to replace the panel for me. They couldn't get the replacement panel so I received a warranty accommodation for the QN95C 85". It's a monster of a TV! Samsung came through for me, and I'll continue to buy their products. The QN95C stock is pretty limited. I wish more people had the chance to experience it.

@@TechWithKG You already know! I'm over the moon. I would've been content with the QN90B screen replacement, but the QN95C is much better. I'm leaving it offline as well. I love how the picture looks, and I'm using the latest Apple TV 4K 128GB model as my media hub. The onboard speakers sound really well, but I'm using Dolby Atmos surround sound so I don't need to use the onboard speakers. I hope more people are able to check it out.

Samsung TV's now listen to the room and send targeted ads. Turning it off is a nightmare of going to the website and even then, it's almost not possible. Also, Samsung TV's (I was a fan and currently own 6) now have ads on the menu bar. I've called the company, you can't turn them off. I'm done with Samsung.

Great Video! I just received my QN90C and noticed two problems: 1. The brightness is constantly chaging even though I disabled all energy saving options & contrast enhacing. 2. The White color is very bright and dazzling, despite other colors look natural. Any thoughts?

I didn't grab it because most major retailers decided not to carry it, I have a limited amount of TVs I can do per year because they all take time and I don't have companies sending me review samples, so I gotta choose wisely I personally didn't feel the QN95C would help a ton of people and based on early feedback I think that was the right choice, I am sorry to those in the minority that wanted me to review the TV.

@@TechWithKGdude, it’s on Amazon and Samsung and the qn95c is fairly better than the qn90c. It uses a VA panel instead of an ADS panel and has like twice the dimming zones. QN95C > QN90C all day

That’s just the downsides to LCDs and Samsung QN90C has one of the least among LCDs. For less blooming try Local Dimming setting to high and if watching HDR stay with Static tone mapping hope this helps.

Thanks - great video. Current sale prices (in Canada) for SuperBowl put the Q80c at $2,500 vs. the QN85c at $3,500. Do you think the 40% increase is really worth it for the Neo? Guessing we’re talking 85” here? Q80C definitely won’t be as good as the QN85C but that is a huge price gap, I’m looking at Best Buy Canada for some other options and I would suggest Sony X90L for $2,799 howl.me/clzCwMVAxab (affiliate link). Game motion plus is frame interpolation for game mode at low latency it’s a setting in game mode you can activate in the menu. I think the motion pro you are referring to is in regards to “Motion Xcelerator Turbo Pro” correct? If so that’s just a way Samsung explains their refresh rate capabilities on their specs sheet in this case pro means 4k @ 144hz and Turbo+ means 4k @ 120hz and just “Motion Xcelerator Turbo” without plus or pro extra added is just 4k 60hz… and yeah I don’t like this wording it leads to confusion.

The 8K lineup is FINE. Upscaling is superb as of recent and from what im hearing, they're gonna be doing something special for the upcoming QN990C 98" by improving the AI neural network upscaling even further! 🙌🏼

Similar deal in Germany 633 Eur Q60C 55"...I am in a dilemma.

For me in Sweden it’s a 100$ difference from the UHD model. I guess that 100$ might be worth difference for the Q60C. Looking at better models which are reviewed in this video, it’s a 300$ jump to the Q70 and obv more for the even better models. I can’t justify that jump. Idk what do you think? 😄

@@TechWithKG around the 600$ area there's LG QNED 75 and Phillips PUS8108. Also Samsung UHDs such as CU7175, but my understanding is that QLEDs beat these. Thanks a lot for any help.

I bought it for 659$. So far I am happy, especially watching Netflix/HBO. Picture is really good. However I watched footy yesterday where it was slightly disappointing @@Ram-RTR

I had the option between a 75" Q80C or 65" QN90C. The QN90C 65" was 100 bucks more yet 10" inches shorter in length and almost 4 inches less in height. I went with the 75" Q80C since you recommend going bigger (if you have the room) also because you said; considering picture quality is about same go with bigger TV always. Your thoughts?

based on the prices shown, the 65-inch q80c is the same price as the 55-inch qn85c. So at that price point, is it better to have the 65-inch or the other one?

I always lean bigger if the quality difference isn't huge and you can fit the bigger TV.

Which is a better value of the 3 models and why: 85 inch QN85C at $2,300 or 83 inch S90C at $3,150 or 77 inch S90C at $2,500

Believe it or not they are pretty close, i'd rank them by picture quality S90C 77, S90C 83, QN85C but as far as value I think S90C 77 is the best value with it being QD-OLED. Can't go wrong with either.

Not sure on the newer models but the qn90b has poorer upscaling/image quality in sub 4k content with game mode switched on. 4:3 aspect ratio is unavailable in game mode. Its the worst gaming tv i have ever owned.

Hey KG, it’s been a while, so glad for your channel’s growth! Not sure if you remember but we used to chat back in your Q90T days! I still have mine but been getting the upgrade itch lately. I’m debating between the QN95C and 900C. I’m going for a 85 this time and figure the 8K might not be too bad for the extra ppi. Any input on the matter? I know the Sony A95L is a beast of a TV but I love the saturation and brightness of the Samsung. Thanks!

I remember! Thank you, I still have the Q90T in a room loved that TV still holds up great vs mini LED but if you absolutely need to move on from it I suggest QD OLED it is the best of LCD and OLED. S90C is a strong choice. Going to a mini LED from the Q90T will not feel significant enough unless going up sizes so it makes sense if you go with your 85” plan and in that case I like the Sony X95L or Samsung QN90C maybe QN95C but at that price X95L makes sense over it.

I meant to type X95L in the original comment, it looks like Sony has the best LED this year based on all the reviews and videos comparisons on KZbin. I'm still not sure I want to leave Samsung though, I liked the punchiness of the HDR and the saturation despite not being accurate or natural like Sony. I stopped by BestBuy yesterday and got really impressed by the S90C, I just wish the 83 inch would also come with the new QD panel but it seems like that won't be the case this year. Thanks for the response, I'm thinking of holding off for now and possibly upgrade to a 83inch Samsung QD Oled next year. I still enjoy my Q90T a lot and have had no issues since day one. @@TechWithKG

Q80A is the far better TV in this case. Full array 120hz vs 60hz entry level TV.

@@TechWithKG how do you guys even tell the difference lol? After the Q60C and up I don’t see a massive difference. I game occasionally but nothing crazy, mainly movies. I hate the overtly realistic picture mode so I changed all the settings to film-maker or movie and once you do that there isn’t much difference in picture quality after the Q60C

The QN95C in 85" is $5k from Walmart however NOT directly from Samsung's website (still). I can get the QN90C in 85" directly from Samsung for $2222 right now. That's a no-brainer. There is NO WAY the 95C is worth that much more money over the 90C. KG: You're saying that ALL sizes in the QN90C are now ADS panels? And you're saying that's better than a VA panel?
