I've been following you since I was a culinary intern (which was 5years ago). The hotel's cold kitchen showed your baking videos, and I've been hooked since. You are an inspiration to me, @Anna! I also love to bake, and in fact, I have tried making your recipe of banana bread twice. My family and I loved it. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge as well as your recipes. Because we are norwegian and dutch and swiss so we have a love for dutch foods and products lol we use dutch milk here

Paul Fender I know right? Little over a week ago I made Anna’s ladyfingers dipped in chocolate. My daughter went to spend a few days w her gf so I sent a couple doz or so w her. It’s been a long, long time since I’ve used a piping bag. They turned out amazingly well. Wish I was better at tempering chocolate though. I guess I’ll have to buy melts rather than dark chocolate in the bars.

Question? Some cake rolls are rolled warm..others are rolled after they cool.....are the ones that are rolled when cooled True Sponge cakes? Where the eggs are separated and cake flour is used? I've noticed in the many vids I've seen that Genoise is rolled warm and the True Sponge is rolled once cooled...

I'm stuck at home and I don't want to go outside to buy stuff. Lately I've been craving for something sweet. I've got eggs, flour, butter/oil, vanilla, sugar, oatmeal, baking soda here at home (no baking powder sadly and unfortunately no chocolate). Are there any yummy treats I can do using only these ingredients?

You can whip white eggs to add volume to the batter you may not need baking powder, or type cakes or pies or breads that you can make with not baking powder on youtube

Hi -- I wonder why do you leave 5 % batter which is left stuck behind in the dish in which you are mixing -- I feel it’s imp to use all the batter -- n not waste any -- leaving some behind --most of the time -- just noticed so sharing
