That’s what freaking annoys me so much about her. But it’s not just that, she is just straight a major jerk in general! She kicked pikachu before when pikachu did nothing wrong to her, and there’s also The fact that she kicked these two poor baby igglybuffs out of spite and jealousy and then being all innocent when ash and the others wonder what happened . I always hated that jigglypuff as a kid, and then when she appeared again in sun and moon, I was like “OH HELL NO!” 😂😅 And my gosh, her running joke of singing then getting mad and then drawing on people’s faces just got old so quick to me as a kid. She is such a delusional jerk who thinks that people get bored when she sings but she is so dumb to understand that in reality her singing is her special ability 🤦🏽‍♀️

You did a good job as always but you forgot about her appearance in Pokémon Chronicles: Meloetta Moonlight Serenade, at the end of the movie she actually fufilled her dream by performing on the stage alongside with Pikachu and other Pokemon. Maybe the writer's fulfilled her dream in a sense that the audience for Jigglypuff's performance was the viewers themselves (the actual audience watching the anime) By not falling asleep, the audience (us) likely made Jigglypuff proud and satisfied her long-standing desire to be acknowledged for her singing talent! Overall, i think Jigglypuff only wanted attention and appreciation.. and was likely unaware of her sing ability puts people to sleep. Let's not forget she's also the ONLY Pokemon that stayed with the OG trio or followed ash on his journey Despite its intentions of gaining an audience for its singing, Jigglypuff's ability to put people to sleep often worked in Ash's favor by foiling Team Rocket's plans. Jigglypuff often seen as the "annoying" Pokemon who puts everyone to sleep with her singing, is actually a "HIDDEN HERO" in the Pokemon world. Her seemingly inconvenient ability to induce slumber often turns out to be a valuable asset, saving the day in unexpected ways! • Jigglypuff actually saved the day by putting all of the prehistoric Pokemons back to sleep even Ash acknowledged it in that episode. • Her singing helped Ash to capture Snorlax that been causing havoc in seven grapefruit islands • Jigglypuff defeats all of the extraterrestrial Clefairys to help Ash rescue Pikachu also getting her microphone back • Her singing also was useful to summon bigglypuff to stop rampaging Ancient Pokémon Giants • Ash and his friends safely passed through the Onix tunnel with Jigglypuff's help. • She aided Pikachu to find Ash and Todd after they fell from the highest ice cliff. • Jigglypuff's surprise appearances always putting an end to Team Rocket's schemes. Jigglypuff may have her flaws for sure, but she’s almost as iconic as Pikachu. She made the anime immensely more entertaining with her antics. I grew disappointed over the years as I saw that Jigglypuff had seemingly disappeared, but I was overjoyed when I heard the announcement for the Sun and moon first season finale that Jigglypuff was finally returning to the point that I was more excited about her return than that of Misty and Brock. That being said, I still wish they had not let over a decade go by between Jigglypuff first and only appearance in hoenn and Sun and moon. The change in its dub voice showed that the years had not been kind.

Jigglypuff is an odd case it was one of those rare recurring Pokémon to appear in Kanto, Johto, and then when Hoenn came along, it kinda just dropped off. Its nice that she returned during Sun and moon and after that but it was one of those Pokémon that the main characters never caught and it would’ve been nice to see on their team.

I wished she went through Hoenn more, the Kanto Battle Frontier, Sinnoh, even Unova, Kalos, and traveling around with Ash & Goh time to time. A prequel to Song of Jigglypuff, she probably was a Igglybuff until she found a random marker used it she got really happy till it evolved into the Jigglypuff we all know today. She probably lost that original marker before she got Ash's marker. I can see her being rivals with Scream Tail.

The first episode with Jigglypuff was really great, my favorite part was definitely Team Rocket singing a song, that was awesome, but beyond that it was cool to see Misty shown to like Jigglypuff and the gang helping Jigglypuff how to sing and even though, everyone sleeped in the city, it was actually good in the end and everyone felt better after. This episode was great fun, but its sad that Jigglypuff never had any meaningful development after that, it was only used as a comic relief for almost all the rest of its appearances, for some thats okay enough, but for me I feel the first Jigglypuff episode is the best one of them all.

Don't forget she had the voice changing megaphone from the season 1 pokemon caine caper episode. How did that never come up again? she did get to succeed (briefly) in her goal once in the trick house episode in hoenn. She sings to to a whismur and thanks to sound proof their not effected. Later though the same whismur is tired from battle and falls asleep from exhaustion that happens to be around when Puff comes back.

The real reason why anyone (especially Ash and his friends) falls asleep while Jigglypuff tried to sing it's song because sing is a Pokemon attack which soothing lullaby song in a calming voice that puts human or Pokemon into a deep slumber which also explain why Jigglypuff gets angrily whenever it's audience fell asleep that it doodles their face with its marker pen. If this Jigglypuff have brains then it would have finally realise by now why everyone (especially Ashj and his friends) because of it's song and be smart enough to quit. But then again the Japanese writers need a wild Recurring Pokemon to pop in were Ash and his friends are in one of the episodes for the sake of comedy scene like Jigglypuff .

I think that they probably decided to mostly phase her out because of one of two possible reasons: Firstly, it's possible they thought that Jigglypuff's gag of putting everyone to sleep by singing and then scribbling on them afterwards was becoming too repetitive, which is fine with me in the spirit of keeping things fresh. Secondly, it's entirely possible they simply didn't know what to do with her as a character if she was to continue to make regular appearances, and therefore decided it would be better to give her a break and focus on other Pokemon. The fact that they probably wanted to put other Pokemon in the spotlight more frequently also was a major contributing factor in my opinion; sure, one could argue that Meowth and Pikachu getting to appear in nearly every episode could justify having Jigglypuff appearances more herself, but those 2 Pokemon are also not as one-note as Jigglypuff is, making it easier to write storylines around them (aside from the fact that they couldn't really be taken away without their loss being felt)

While jigglypuff’s timing was always sorta funny after ash and crew helped with getting healed as it were honestly I was actually scared whenever this powderpuff showed up and wondered how long it would take before the singing started and how long it would take before the doodling would start though i admit I’m surprised the voice changing megaphone didn’t go anywhere after that growlithe episode
