I’ve found Logic stem splitter really good so far. Each track you split can vary….but I’ve found it to be great so far.

I gotta disagree. I've yet to hear any stem splitter that can do it without artifacts that make the signal unusable in a production.

Great instructional video on Logic Pro drum programming. I'm most interested in gaining proficiency with the Logic Pro Script Editor for rhythmic ideas and more human sounding percussion. Funny ending comment to this video too RE: pot smoking drummers not wanting to get behind the kit. Hysterical! Gets at how it feels so magical when I get a chance to play with a live full-kit drummer, like it's a dream-like state. Anything a machine can do that is close is invaluable imo.

Thanks! Drummers man, drummers... I could go on for days haha. Have you messed with the Session Players much? I have gotten some pretty good ideas from just letting them rip and then tidying up the MIDI that you can grab from them.
