All he has for recovery is 5 mid air jumps, down B that acts as a short teleport, neutral B, side B, and one of the longest range up B's in the game. And he can go under the stage and make it to the other side with every special. Or without any specials. *pretty average recovery*

A quick suggestion, watch genesis 7 grand finals, whether that’s the regular set, or Marss review, watch it. The set is really good and extremely high level of play, both players are the best of the best with their characters, and they have amazing knowledge on each other. In Marss’s review, he says that he tries to ledge trap instead of edge guard because of Leo’s reversals, he knows that Leo is insanely good at recovering, and in a scenario where he is getting edge guarded, he can easily take advantage, take your stock instead, or trade stocks. Also Leo knows how zss can easily go high so he makes recovering really difficult in the set.

Best edge guard I've ever done was actually a reverse edge guard with Luigi against my friends jigglypuff. My friend knocked me off stage while they were at 16%, their last stock and I charged green missile to get close enough to recover. My friend jumped off stage and tried to throw out a Nair to catch me but miss timed it and got hit with the missile and missed his tech. I jumped grabbed ledge fast fell faired him under the stage and he missed his tech again and went right under me, so I just fast fell and spiked him straight down.

Charizard is the most annoying when it comes to edge guarding. You can keep moving his head up and down while using flame thrower which wont allow you back on the stage. Then he does that rock smash which makes unmovable no matter what attacks him.

I actually don't often hear Smash players use *"ledge"* and *"edge"* interchangeably. From my understanding, the _ledge_ refers to the physical part of the stage that can be grabbed while recovering. Meanwhile, the _edge_ can be described as the imaginary boundary separating on-stage and off-stage; if there's no floor beneath you, you're at the _edge_ of the stage (this includes hanging from the _ledge)._ This distinction is commonly used to define the differences between, and functionality behind both *ledge trapping* and *edge guarding* (once again, I have not heard the term _ledge_ guard commonly be thrown around within regulars of the Smash community). *_Edge guarding_* involves preventing your opponent from returning to the stage once they are at the _edge._ This may be done by physically jumping off stage to hit them, or throwing out moves or projectiles whilst on stage yourself. *_Ledge trapping_* is done whilst the opponent is holding onto the _ledge_ of the stage, and involves reading and reacting to their "get-up" options (while at the _ledge)_ with the appropriate response to keep them in the "disadvantage" state. In shorter terms, you want to keep your opponent in a position where they have fewer options to respond (including, but not limited to, hanging on the _ledge_ and walled off at the _edge)_ Hopefully this clears up some confusion, this video is honestly a bit misleading with its use of terminology. A lot of the information I've used here was gathered from guides by Smash professionals; a good one to check out would be Larry Lurr's guide to Ledge trapping.
