No, that wasn't my map, my was even simpler (it didn't even have a grid), but it was basically the whole map, including second "continent", Death Mountain and... i don't remember what it was, "labyrinth" thing. There was only a smaaaall piece of the map missing, one tiny bit that Jared just never gone to.

I always felt the 1ups should've either permanently increased the number of lives you got per continue OR always restocked every time you continued, so you could go reclaim them if you were willing to trek back to them. When I got to the final palace, I had no idea that the Thunder spell was necessary to beat the Thunder Bird, so I died on him several times before I just gave up and figured he was a deadend.

It's a really small thing overall, but editing out the intros and outros really enhances the rewatchability of these older playlists. It's great background for trying to sleep, or grinding in other games where you only have to kind of pay attention. I hope more of these videos come out for the randomizers. Maybe another run of the Final Fantasy 1 rando?

i watched all these series when they first came out and its wild to think that was seven years ago these were literally my childhood i was 12 and these were my first experiences with the classic Zelda's (in full i had seen stuff obviously but i had only seen full playthroughs of the 3d Zelda's) to this day i still don't know where all the items in links awakening actually are nor have i beaten my copy of Zelda two but i remember how all of these series begin and end and the struggles faced throughout. i want to say thank you Jared for these series and every thing you've made since for me to laugh at or study to or chat with my friends (and the editors over the years for the beautiful colour commentary)

I don't know if you know anything about it, but an enhanced PC edition of this game that was in the works for a long time is out now and it is great. It has a built in randomizer too so it might be something you would be interested in. It has a ton of QOL changes as well as new and redesigned content across the game. I only recent had found out about it and started playing yesterday so I only recently picked up the hammer but so far it has been great. Still challenging of course but even the new stuff feels pretty good and fits well with what the game already offered. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to play this game again.

I think it's cool that as your equipment and spells improved, your skills never did. I'm impressed. Especially how, with the gimp boss with the spinning ball, you eventually figured out to stop jumping right away but continued to do so even after seeing how well it worked to hit him in his fat gut.

My Dad loved Zelda when he was alive, he had beaten the first three Zelda games to completion. And I remember when I was eight he finally got a new 64 and took a week to complete Ocarina of Time. He normally didn't game that much, but the Zelda franchise really meant a lot to him. Unfortunately he never got to beat his favorite Zelda which happened to be Twilight Princess. And I had never played a Zelda until a few weeks ago when I found a decent copy of Zelda the collector's edition. And for about 5 days I have been trying to complete Ocarina of Time, and I thoroughly love the aspect of Adventure in this game😊 Hoping to complete the rest of the Zelda's in this collection and possibly start collecting all the Zelda games beat them all, and end with 100% Twilight Princess.
