I'm so glad I was a participant of the first race! I and Cody Xvtt had an amazing battle between the two of us for the 3rd place. That guy is an amazing driver. It was exactly the feeling that I thought I would have if I would ever race in a Viper's lobby. The second race, during qualifying, I missed the breaking point of the first corner and I continued my lap like nothing had happen cause I thought it would be automatically disallowed and I ended up finishing 2. And I retired cause it wouldn't be fair to the other guys, even though I'm sure they would easily overtake me 9 (even though i cheated unintentionally i still didn't end up getting pole position, pad noob :'( :P

No need to press the issue in the first couple laps. No need to defend when he knows his race pace is capable of 1st place with no mistakes. Plus if he defends wrong (lap 4) and someone loses grip "Gets PC2'd" then lose/lose. Great race! Up to lap 7. PC2 curbs/off road are WAY to slippery. People have complained and nothing has changed so far...

Chris Robinson Worse thing is, it’s not consistent. In Spa for example I can hammer the Eau Rouge/Raidillon and Les Combs kerbs. Road America and Le Mans kerbs are also fine but in Silverstone it’s almost like they pull you off the track in certain places.

That is the exact reason I don't defend. You make a wrong move and it's lose/lose. Also some players don't take kindly to defending and decide it's time to ram.

@@theoracleprodigy Which I can never understand. Surprisingly I've had my best luck with GTSport as far as people understanding post race. "Good/close race" vs "Y U Suk M8, l3arn how ta drive!". Defending wears the chaser out and can force him out of the rhythm he used to catch up to you. Just cause he can hot lap 1 second faster doesn't mean he can beat you with forced alternative lines. Some driver's aren't comfortable on the outside/inside of others for half a track. If he gets by after that? Buy him a virtual beer, he got you. If your opponent is good, defending just makes the race that much more intense/fun.

Jack Spade ffb files totally changes the whole game literally. I use to slide across the track, until I figured it out. It was my ffb settings. With the files it is important to run FCM 1.2 tool (PC only). It helps with slack center feeling, which makes the cars slide. Console versions are def different game.

@@miy1925hassun the default set ups are often garbage, gt3 cars are actually very grippy with the right set up. I know this because i do online gt3 league races. And don't take time trial set ups cause those are suicidal.

Giovanni Quargentan Eh, not really. In the early sims up to about mid-2000s, yeah the cars were mostly death traps if you had the tiniest bit of slip but that was becayse the technology at the time and a lack of tire data past the limit. Now, it’s not the case. The cars are far more predictable. The grip is way more progressive and with today’s ffb, you can feel what the car is doing much better. Now some cars like 60s F1 cars are still death traps until you really get the hang of them(and even then they still aren’t that safe) but that’s because they really were death traps in real life :D

why don't I find the cars in PC2 especially hard to drive ? I find it easier than Assetto Corsa.

I take the claim of realism with a pinch of salt. I've owned a Mazda 3 MPS Mk II and currently a Focus RS Mk3. Not found any game with these cars that simulates anywhere near what they are like to drive. Doesn't stop the game being enjoyable though.

Try assetto corsa, it's arguably the most realistic sim on console, especially force feedback is excellent, so you don't have to guess what to do with the wheel and when you get into it, it's quite easy to drive fast. Also the tracks are laser scanned, so you can feel all the bumps. The multiplayer is very primitive and sometimes laggy and from my experience on xbox not very populated. Still when it goes right, it's very fun to race and most of the community is helpful, fair on track and very skilled.

In my opinion: the REAL Dark souls in the racing game genre is Dirt rally. Give it a try. I was born with the Racing genre but that game is VERY hard. Good video btw :)

He was literally toying with you the whole race. He had much more pace in reserves to go faster. Driving off on grid not fun. It's more fun to just keep pace and slowly break them down with pressure

You need to properly set up your car, and learn to manage the throttle/brake inputs. Any and all cars become a nightmare, if you don't set them up properly and/or is not gentle with your inputs.

Its not surprising after you waste KERS in Laferrari its bit easier to drive because the engine is naturally aspirated.
