A few signs I've always noticed when growing up was: They tell people who are close to them about you. Friends, family, etc. They think about you when your not around. They will try to get physically close to you when possible Finally, they will always try to get your attention, if you haven't already noticed them. You walk into a room full of people, they are likely the 1st person to say hi or approach you.
@Psych2go Жыл бұрын
You seem very observant! These are great tips that people can keep in mind. In your opinion, if you notice that someone feels this way about you, what is the best way to approach them?
@trich742 Жыл бұрын
@Psych2Go I'd say approach is always the toughest, even if your 99% sure there is always the 1% doubt, but if they seem interested, then being directed is always the best route. This is true if you whether you reciprocate those feels or not. Something else I noticed as a teen is that love can actually be expressed as a mathematical equation. Love= (exposure/time) +/- experience. In other words, it's more likely feelings will develop based on the amount of time you spend around an individual and if those experiences you've had with that person are positive or negative.
@wayneheidlebaugh9915 Жыл бұрын

For having experience in the field, the best experiences you will have are with persons that don't try to impress you because the ones who do most of the time want just a one night thing or just to get your validation or attention. Don't be too upfront and most of all take your time to know the person, with time and experience, you'll understand when it's the right time to act and when to let it go. Sometimes, the attraction you feel for someone is what you have built up in your mind (this goes for men and women). Sometimes you might see signs that are just the expression of the person you're interacting with. I had too many experiences with girls falling in love with me just because I was helpful, upfront, assertive, not taking any crap (regardless of my attraction towards the girl). Sometimes you could have all the signs and get a flat out no. Sometimes you could have none and end up having an enthusiastic yes. People like you and I are way too different to trust "signs". Trust yourself and don't beat yourself up if it doesn't work out. Have fun and enjoy folks. Before I forget. Communication is the most important aspect. No time for mind games. Ditch those who are unsure about how they feel about you, it will just make you suffer and keep you hoping.

If you’re feeling bad about yourself because of that, please realise that even if it seems that NOBODY would ever want you it’s more than likely way untrue. Your own perception of yourself definitely affects what you’ll see when others interact with you. I thought I was ugly in school and I was pretty damn depressed, so whenever people were nice to me I thought they were faking and when they were mean I thought it was just natural for them to be that way to me. If I think I’m ugly and stupid, why wouldn’t anyone else?… Got older, that shit was a LIE. I was super smart. And super cute!!!! Which is so weird because if someone said that to me then, when I was looking at that face in the mirror, I would have looked at them like they were on something!! And suddenly a lot of memories I had about school suddenly made more sense… There were a lot of people who were mean to me because they thought I believed I was better than them. I didn’t give them that impression on my own. They saw the good things about me and assumed I already knew them too! They wanted to ‘knock me down a peg’ before I even opened my mouth… That’s what older folks mean when they say stuff like “oh, those bullies are just jealous”. It always sounds crackpot but then you get older and realise it was true!! And even if there’s only one person at school who has a crush on you for like a week or just finds you pretty, you won’t realise they did until you find yourself pretty too. In your mind someone finding you pretty might not make any sense, so you won’t interpret somebody else’s actions as “because they think i’m pretty” yk?? Even if afterwards you figure out… wait… that person totally liked me!! Or at least they thought you had a cute face somehow. I mean, in the end, whether random people have a crush on you or not doesn’t determine your worth. But believing that nobody you’ve met has ever been attracted to you is also… v unlikely. Even if you personally wouldn’t be attracted to you. Lmao. Who says you have to be your own type?? This is the second time I have written a novel in this comment section so I’m going to put my phone down and go outside, but anyways I hope my rant helped you even a tiny 1% bit;; bye!
@A_NormalPerson._. Жыл бұрын
@@prettyrat. thanks for the uplifting words I really appreciate it :) Ik its unlikely that everyone in the entire world finds me unattractive but it’s easy to fall in to that type of thinking when I’m a bit too mean to myself everyday😓 and like you said a part of that is me not loving myself enough. I’ve recently been trying to love myself more (the reason why im on this channel in the first place) but it’s hard not to compare myself too my peers and see how they’ve already have had their first relationship or are currently in one while I’ve never even had my first kiss yet. Ik I shouldn’t compare and that everyone goes through these things in their own pace but I can’t stop thinking that there is something about bad me that makes girls not to be with me romantically. I have no problem being friends with girls or talking to them but for some reason when it comes to romance I just can’t get it right. Maybe it’s my personality or I’m bad at flirting but the reason I chose to believe was that I’m just ugly. I realized soon that way of thinking isn’t going to get me a girlfriend anytime soon and had a little pep talk with a close friend and promised her that I would at least try to love myself more and here I am on this channel stumbling through their videos and over sharing in their comments to strangers lol. Idk even where I was going with this it’s 11:55 pm and it’s a school night so I should probably go to bed already. Anyways sorry for rambling and I hope that some what made sense. Thanks again for your kind words and reading this long comment kind stranger 😊

I've always had a deeper voice for a female. If my voice gets higher when I'm speaking to you, it doesn't mean I find you physically attractive. It means I'm speaking to you in my retail voice because I'm not comfortable enough to speak to you in my real voice. When I like someone, I won't have to act different. I just treat them like we're close friends and if they can do the same for me, then it's likely that it will turn into something more.
@Ito_has_moved Жыл бұрын

@SphereofCygnus Жыл бұрын
I appreciate you saying that! I'm sort of the equivalent opposite. I'm an (almost) 21 yr-old male and definitely don't have a super deep voice. Of course, my voice deepened after puberty (which I actually underwent a bit early) but it didn't really get as low as some of my classmates at the time. Nonetheless, there's a huge difference when compared to my kiddie voice, lol! 😂 Anyway, I think sometimes needing to sound a certain way based on "norms" for each sex can be frustrating, from a purely vocal standpoint and quality. I went through a point of needing to fit in desperately and it damaged me in a sense because my voice wasn't as deep as some of the other guys, while some of them still had their prepubescent voices. Thankfully, I began to find strength in my own being and was able to find my first romantic partner in a girl once high school came around and we shared quite a few classes together, so sometimes things like that seem superficial and the quality of the person at heart, their intentions and their interests and values become most attractive, at least to me. I agree with you! ❤
@lauravampire1276 Жыл бұрын
I’m the exact same! My voice is on the deeper side but when it comes to someone i don’t know in say customer service, my voice also becomes higher as I don’t want them to think I’m trying to be rude with my normal voice as my tone and octave can be mixed.
@vibaj16 Жыл бұрын
Lol I misunderstood that first sentence at first. I thought you meant "I've always used a deeper voice when around a female". Anyway, I'm kinda the opposite as a male. I have a slightly higher tone when speaking to friends because I'm talking faster and am often excited. When I talk to family, strangers, or someone I'm attracted to, I talk in my normal voice, because I'll probably be talking slower (talking to family/strangers) or "excited in a different way" (talking to someone I'm attracted to)

@@Psych2go and thank you.. really.. for replying.. well.. i feel Psych2Go is a safe space because like.. the channel is like a 'good parent', always there for you in every situation, telling you what to do, telling you who you are [the 'which personality are you' typed vids], warning you stuff [like the toxic friends video] and also with a gentle approach if you're doing something wrong yourself [like the toxic friends video but here, you're being toxic] and also videos on how to fix stuff like that and to be better, and very good advices and like this video too, telling you how to know if someone wants you and such.. the animations i feel are also a big part of making people feel safe watching the vids as it's kind of peaceful.. ofcourse humans can be good no doubts but animations hit different as they're cute most of the time and can be used in multiple ways , which is really a notable feature you've been doing for a loong time that makes people feel safer and also that the voiceover isn't dark nor too loud and like, the accents too, the voices are really really calming which is also a good thing for the future though, i feel you can make the channel a safe space for more people by simply existing.. seriously, there's nothing more to do with all these perks, if i think a lot and kind of analyse though, maybe there can be occasional videos on no specific topics but rather just comforting words and such.. i think I've seen atleast one video like this before and you could continue doing that.. [ like showing appreciation and reassuring everything's gonna be ok and other such comforting words, just like motivational stuff ]

funnily enough me and 3 of my closest friends all share at least a few signs of attractions, although for 1 of them it's just how close we are that makes it seem that way, for another in particular though we both know about our sexual tension for each other and we do absolutely all of these lol (in short these signs either mean you're close in general or you're totally down for that person)

Could you do a video on how introverts/really shy people do and act. idk if u alr did a vid on this, I think that this would be a really idea. I have been someone whos really shy since I was young, and I find that sometimes some of the points are not relatable for me or solutions are something I can't do or am too scared to do. Videos like that would be really helpful for me. thank you for your time. Oh and also what are some signs of knowing when I really really REALLY like someone to a point I should tell them if I find out that they have the possibilities of returning feelings bc I feel like I have reached that point but I am unsure.
@proudream7 ай бұрын
I agree, shy / introverted people act differently. They stare from afar, they blush, they "ignore" you, if you talk to them they panic / they seem startled and then embarrassed... avoid direct eye contact... etc.

I have noticed I have been experiencing point 1, a rise in body temperature and also heart rate increasing when I know a girl I like is nearby… So, I take the train everyday to work and there’s this pretty girl I see almost everytime on the way to and back. Occasionally I see her looking in my direction but being a nervous person I try hard to not make it obvious I look at her sometimes too. We’ve spoken like fewer than 10 words over the months 😅 Shall I just say screw it and talk to her? If so, after we get off the train in the morning, before the train arrives in the evening, or on the train?

Comparing my husband to my past boyfriends (a few): it took the least amount of “effort” with my husband. No mind games, no guessing, and DEFINITELY no waiting around to see who would make the first move or whatever. None of that stuff. We just would talk (we worked together at a retail store) and I would literally never feel awkward around him. But, I was extremely interested in getting to know him much better, so we were friends first, but would send emails like we were already dating (more risqué talking) Nothing was more obvious to just go out on that first date 😂 The rest is history and 24 years later we’re still excellent communicators. YOU’LL JUST KNOW. Even at 18…I knew.

I have a crush on someone(a coworker of mine) but unfortunately he’s taken. He’s a bit of a flirt though because there was one day that I was subbing for a colleague of mine and after I said hi to another co-worker (who I look up to like an older brother), when he saw me, his eyes widened and his face lit up. He then said in Spanish “It’s so great to see you!”, he pulled me close to hug and kiss me on the cheek, I almost fell on my back but he picked me back up to prevent me from falling and we continued hugging (This guy is really tall around 6’5 or something). There are two female coworkers that are like all over him ( I don’t blame them, he’s incredibly handsome) so I usually keep my distance when he’s with them but sometimes when I keep my distance, he won’t want to talk to them, he’ll want to talk to me.

I still can't think of sexual things about my highschool crush and that was some 25 years ago, some of us see love and sex as two completely separate things. Being in top physical condition, durable, and athletic, mean nothing if one is rectally ugly. That unfortunate description has fallen upon me. However, I realise this. With that most depressing of knowledge, I know that absolutely nobody could ever be sexually attracted to me nor attracted to me for any reason at all, unless it is to use, betray, and then painfully abandoned me. There is no reason to even consider if someone finds me attractive. The answer will always be the same. Thus, I do not even notice the way others look at me. It would pose no relevance to notice the way others perceive me.

Recently, a guy (gay and 32) and I (gay man and 25) vibed very well in person. He said I am handsome, sweet, and attractive. He asked to kiss me after we met and chatted for an hour and we then made out passionately nd aggressively. He felt my bulge and he grabbed my hand to feel his. I asked him on a date and he said he has been in seven relationships and needs time for himself and to be single. He said we can be casual friends and move slowly. After some text messages to ask to hang out and perhaps fool around, he said he was going to relax last Friday. Yesterday, after sending nudes, he said I was not his type. I am aware of my abandonment issues and working with a therapist. However, I thought he was romantically and sexually interested...until this occurred. Today was the first day of large depression settling in. I hope to be stronger daily.

Im really careful not to put the cart before the horse. I have a crush 🥰. He's very kind, soft spoken, shy, wise, and more 😊. We met on a dating app and again when he found me on another. He has a job where he has fans but lately ive noticed when he talks, it has changed. When he is on screen, talking to his fans. Its very up played, sensual, getting people's attention. And he use to talk like that a bit with me during our private chats. We both know we are interested in each other but a bit unsure where to take it. I decided to take a leap of faith and called him sunshine as well as wishing him and his cat a good morning. I decided on sunshine as a cute way to address him. Not ranchy, not to much. Something cute and safe. Well, the recent audio recording he sent me, i immediately noticed a chance in his voice. It was far more relaxed, he wasnt preforming. He was calm and even laughed a bit. He sounded so different than when he is streaming. I dont if its just my ears or he really is starting to warm up to me. He's also allowed himself to be vulnerable with me too. I will play it by ear, stick to being kind and wait out a few more month. But i can tell that calling him sunshine definitely had a positive reaction in him so ill find other cute names and sprinkle them in every week. Im thinking 'Dewdrop' for next week. Or how about 'Honeydew'? Maybe 'Honey Bee'?😊

I would like a video of the study about; What does it mean when a man calls a woman cute? Whenever I hang with guys I'm always called or described as cute. 😮💨 Whenever they talk about anyone else it's they are hot or gorgeous. But for me cute? What does that actually mean? And why do men call women that. I'm not 4. A child is cute. A baby is cute. But me? a grown woman? To top it off they want to date me and have relationships with me. They all tell me they have great feelings for me. If so then what's with the word cute!!
@vinylwalk3r Жыл бұрын
I cannot speak for them, only give my own two cents on the matter. I got a similar thing, if someone looks good but im not interested in them, I also describe them as beautiful or hot. But if theres someone I'm attracted to as someone I would like to get to know better, I say their cute. For me, cute as a word and concept has more feeling and depth than just hot or gorgeous. Hot or any other interchangeable term is only skin deep, it only describes their outward physical appearence. Which works fine for describing someones looks. But if I want to include more than just appearance when I describe the her, I want to convey theres more than her body that attracts me (and it can even be physical, as in a big blush or that nervoursness that so easily shines through when you talk to your crush), I'll use cute as, for me atleast, it signals more attraction than just outsides. Thats my thoughts atleast, everyone works differently. Some may just use cute just as hot or beautiful, whilst others use it more like I do.
@Ghostpeppar Жыл бұрын
@@vinylwalk3r Thank you for your response. I hope the term changes though. It feels (to me) like an insult. For example when a more advanced experienced person talks down your idea they use the phrase (that's or you're cute). And when trying to find a relationship To me feels like a losing battle when they look at me and say you're cute. As if I have zero chance of ever being anything more that deserves to be called gorgeous, beautiful, stunning, which entitles and describes beauty of the mind and personality to the person more than the physical appearance of Hot. I would rather and prefer to be called beautiful or anything else but cute. Especially when I am all dressed up best. The result I get is You're cute. They all reach out for a relationship though. Anyway again thank you for your response I appreciate others views. 🙂
