In the UK, we don’t get pumpkin purée. Is there an alternative we could use? Without making it from scratch. We also don’t get pumpkin spice so any alternative?

For real? The snickerdoodle recipe I always use doesn’t have cream of tartar 😅 ah well, language evolves, I would recognise these as snickerdoodles any day lol
