C2302 no. David died 16 years ago in a bike accident :-( Alan died of cancer a few years ago. All of us who knew them closely as family miss them!

In the beginning, I thought Pussycat was a worthless bot, but the more I saw of it, it was a design masterpiece, hell it beat razor and that circular blade is a very underrated weapon.

TheBrass18 - I agree. I'd love to see some of these classic designs updated with modern batteries, drives, blades and armour. Pussycat was a terrific bot. I think a lot of the younger fans commenting here don't appreciate just how limited the technology was way back then! Lead-acid batteries or useless ni-cads... No computers, no li-pos, no gyros, dodgy radio reception, no hardened steel armour, no fancy speed controllers, no brushless motors, no internet... Sigh...

Yeah that blade seems to hit like a kinetic spinner but keep going and not mess up the whole robot like those cumbersome bars the kids like nowadays.

Pussycat was harmless when it still used a buzzsaw blade, but it became an actual threat with the pinwheel blade. Especially for bots that have small exposed wheels.

The team explained on the DVD that they wanted to get out of the way of Pussycat's first attack in order to have enough time to get their disc up to speed. But Dave Gribble was that fraction too quick.

Dominator won thst fight. Far more aggresive and didnt really sustain any real damage. Stopped watching robot wars after i reakised judges bassically judged for entertainment rather than facts

Have you not payed attention to the fight because Pussycat did shredded the tires if look closely, damage Dominator’s back and even made armor loose that is damage all round.
