My husband and I still talk on the phone at least 5-6 times a day. And we've been married for almost 23 years!!

I see Rosie’s sparkle in her eyes come from Josh, her laugh too I am married to my husband 51 years, I was 15 when we met, and has been my only Love, like every married couple we have had a few ups and downs, but that being said one needs to forgive, have great communication and love the other person more then you love yourself, and laughter is everything…. I have never been high maintenance, a walk after dinner is a date as far as I’m concerned , I am just happy to be with my husband , it doesn’t have to be anything fancy Loved these two videos, thank you for being so open xo

Kristen, I think you and Josh hit on some of the best points for a successful marriage: viewing yourselves as a team, having a shared sense of humor, and extending grace to each other. This episode will help people for sure. Best Wishes from a plant selling free spirit and her engineer husband who have been married for 47 years ❤

My Husband and I are celebrating 44 years of marriage, 3 children. What we did thru the lean times was carve out Saturday nights as Date nights, but we couldn't afford a babysitter, etc. We rented a movie (Hey it was VHS rental era LOL) and husband brought home whatever we could afford for take out. The kids all knew that this was Mom and Dad time. We set them up with the second tv we had. Fast forward kids are all grown with families of their own and Hubby and I STILL use Saturday night as at home Movie night. PLUS the kids all remember this tradition!

Thank you so much for sharing this. It helps to validate what I still am going through six years after my husband’s affair. At they time of the affair we had been married for 21 yrs…(childhood sweethearts) there are still times that I feel like I’m losing my mind because I get triggered, so being able to relate to somebody else on this level helps me so much. God bless you both ❤

We married 63 years ago. He taught school. We were very poor but I loved thrifting, making things. We had two daughters that I sewed their clothes, window treatments and coverlets. Through the years my husband became a banker and 38 years ago a minister. Years of thrifting was such good training! Now I don’t need to but I still am careful with our resources. God continue to bless you and your family!❤️

You had the exact words I had been searching for while now about the things you did prior is still traumatizing to me. Takes God and time to get over those traumas, and to trust that there a new person, and those actions won’t be repeated. Something I’ve had to not hold against my husband. ❤

your q and a was so sweet. My husband and I have been married 43 years March 15 and we dated 3 years before that, I was 15 and he was 18 when we met,,,, We are also "imperfect" Christians, and not gonna lie, it has been some "really hard seasons". My husband also was a "secret keeper" and that has been the most difficult aspect for me in marriage,,,,, Bit we are committed to making it work and our love grows each year,,,, love hearing your open hearts and honest answers. This is about the dog He may have gas because he has too many fillers like grain in his dog food IF he poops out all he eats he is not absorbing it We use dog food that has some grain and protein. DOGS don't need a protein only dog food we get our dog Food at a feed seed farm store Dog food is expensive and a dog food that isnt full of fillers is more costly but it is worth it because when they absorb more of their food and don't poop it all out It is alot easier to keep yard clean

What a beautiful video Kristen and Josh. What you are describing is exactly the way marriage is: Ups and downs and a lot of turns. Weve been married 50 years and stiill vneed to verbalize we're on the same team.😊. I think the Scripturemthat helped us most was Romans 12:11ff. Showing preference for one another is the best. If you come to a difference of opnion or desire about something, ask yourself how you can give and let the other person have their way..ltry to outgive one another. Sometimes it gets funny.😅.

If your dog farts a lot please try a change in food. Gas can be a sign of food intolerance or allergy. Just like in people when you have constant gas. Don't be upset with him its beyond his control as something is not digesting well for him. Try to switch him to a limited ingredient food with out a lot of fillers and the constant gas should stop. Such a sweet pup!!!! PS I dont like sleeping on the ground either :)

The little girls next door to me have those kits and appear to really love them. A woman at my church made a beautiful one of cardinals (birds) and raffled it off. I WON IT, but gave it to a friend who really hoped she would win it.
@lahannah12247 ай бұрын
I love how you still stayed by your husbands side after all of the betrayal because in today's society people have this mentality that if there is some sort of betrayal then run and that's not marriage. Marriage is hard and praying over your spouse during their betrayal is the most powerful thing. Marriage is selfless. My husband betrayed me as well and it's been super hard...and the worst he's not a believer of Christ so its not like we can work through it together through Christ. I have to work through Christ alone. Something my community at church said was keep being that proverbs 31 woman and serve him as God asks. Pray over him and pray to God daily about the things he does that hurts you. By showing your loved one your Christ like actions you are being the light that they need in their darkness.
