Why not develop bullets like the Russian 9x39, that have the boattail longer than the front ogive. This shape delivers better subsonic stability at longer ranges because the bullet uses the long tail to stabiles itself like an Olympic javelin, where the tail is bushed to the centre of the trajectory by the oncoming wind?

Bullet composition, that is what has held back twist rates. You'll spin apart that cheap and poorly designed stuff. However, if you mass produce well designed bullets constructed with proper materials, those bullets become the cheap stuff. Guns are fancy paperweights if you can't feed them. I like the Bob Dylan aesthetic of these videos, but visualizations would be more helpful than words.
