Oh thank you for this one, Stephen! I have type two diabetes, and have no gall bladder 😑so I worry about my liver and kidneys. I refuse to take pharmaceuticals for cholesterol - and kidney function, although I take insulin for my blood sugar, ( I want to wean myself off of insulin). I am very careful, and knew there were other methods to help me. Qi Gong is so valuable. I am grateful for your expertise!

Tammy Routley I was talking to a student of mine today after qigong class. She has type 1 diabetes and normally has wears a pump and can have spikes in blood sugar during or after exercise. She said that her numbers were pretty good after an hour or qigong. 👍🏾☯️

This is great, thank you. Is this a complete practice in its self? Would it be used in a longer set in conjunction with other postures? Could I do each part for longer than in the video? I have so many questions and find it hard to learn from scratch from google! I’m not able to do classes at the moment so trying to put a practice together myself 😊

Hi Sarah. Thanks for you questions and comments. This short practice is part of a longer routine. A longer sequence can hold much power. However, a short sequence can also be effective in relieving tension and pain in the body, circulate energy and focus the mind. One way to experiment with this material is to take each movement and increase the repetitions. While doing so, take your time, move slowly and breathe deeply. Pay attention to what you feel physically, emotionally and mentally while you move. At the end of the practice you can sit quietly for a moments of mindfulness/meditation. Breathe deeply and slowly as you do so. Sometimes it is easier to sit still after a movement practice. Hope that this helps. I have a vast library of videos here so help yourself and enjoy your journey inward to become more skillful at managing your energy. ☺️☯️

@@StevenWashingtonExperience yes that helps, thank you! I am 1/3 of the way into a 100 day practice of another individual movement. I’m doing 6 minutes of that one before bed. And I’ve committed to 100 days of this sequence too, as my kidneys need support. I’m on day 3. Thank you for all of your content. Much appreciated ❤️

Hello. So glad to hear that you’re feeling a bit better. I would suggest that you work with a TCM doctor. Acupuncture combined with herbal medicine can be very effective.
