That was 25 seconds without a breath. Dimas is very humble. He has a vocal coach. He is Muslim but his family raised him to be humble. His mother is an opera singer and his father also sings. He’s been classically trained since the age of 5, at now in 2021 he is 27 years old. By the way, those were not his parents that you saw. They are sometimes in the audience and usually he will introduce his mom. His father travels with him a lot. Welcome to the World of Dimas. You have been Dimashified. 😁

Dimash is the most humble person you will ever see. He has extremely strong family support. They attend his concerts and his father is his manager and is always with him. He never takes credit for his talents but gives credit to God, his family, and his teachers etc. If you want to see how humble he is, watch the fan cam version of his song Daididau from his sold out solo concert in New York. We never see such gratitude in our artist who are no where near as talented as Dimash. He is a very rare gem and because of who he is as a person, you will find his fans genuinely love him, not just his talent.

yes, and since every performance is slightly different from every other of the same song (and this applies especially to the diva song), you should watch them all, first "confessa+diva" from singer2017, then "diva" from his concert, and last the duet "concubine+diva" with the chinese opera singer

He does not have the "Nov" at the end of his name because he is not Russian. The Russians are the lines who add the "Nov." Dimash does not need a life coach because he is a very humble, kind, generous person, who loves his family, his country, and his "Dears" very much. The band, A-Studio, is the original band for this song and the pianist is the composer. By the way, Dimash is Muslim. That note was 22 seconds long.

Dimash has a B.A. in Classical voice, an M.A. in Contemporary (jazz, pop, R & B), and an M.A. in Music Composition. He also has over 20 years of intense vocal training and the voice of a prodigy. He has had many influences in his life, but his favorite singer is Michael Jackson. His genre has been called "Popera."

His grandma and his family are his life coaches. Great upbringing. About the vocals and the performance, I mean, he did the last part in one breath. Well, you can't describe him in a few words, so I'm not gonna type a novel this time, you get a lot of info from other dears. You haven't heard him go off the keyboard yet. Yes, PLEASE!! 👏🏼💕💕 The Singer 2017 version of Dimash singing “Adagio”?... Talk about Passion!!!
The yodel/melisma part is a tribute to the culture of the original lead singer of the band that accomponies him, who died at a very young age. I love your reactions, because you are so genuinely appreciative of his talent. We are trying to give this genius a million subscribers to his personal KZbin channel. That means the world to him. We would appreciate it if you could mention this to your viewers. He did not go off the piano here yet, but therr is a video of him performing Unforgettable day at Gakku festival that is legendary for that reason. Maybe first go back to the performances of the I am a singer competition in China. I could recommend Autumn Strong, Adagio and Opera 2. Many more recommendations but I do not want to overwhelm you. By the way, welcome to the group of the Dears, as Dimash calls his fans. His parents were not in the audience those were members of his fanclub. Dimash donates the flowers he gets to homes of the elderly. Yep he is a nice guy.

Lovely reaction! Even the pianist (the composer of the original song) was impressed! Thank you also for staying right to the end of the video ... For several reasons, this is my favourite performance of this song: it’s the first time Dimash sang it; he comes out in a DJ looking like a young James Bond; the lyrics are beautiful (we have the English translation, to help us appreciate them), and at the end, for the first time we see Igor Krutoy standing and applauding in the audience (white shirt). Dimash and Igor have gone on to develop a wonderful and fruitful musical partnership, and this was right at the start of it! There are other beautiful performances of Sinful Passion, but this was the first! Looking forward to your next Dimash reaction ...

Great Reactions - much appreciated. The band that accompanies Dimash is A Studio. “Sinful Passion” composed in 1998 by the pianist. The band is also from Kazakhstan and in this performance by Dimash giving homage to the lead singer of this band, Batyrkhan Shukenov, who passed away after a heart attack in 2015. The part Dimash added after that first extremely high note is a Mongolian technique - a melisma - that is a tradition in Kazakhstan which honors the deceased.

Hey. Love the joy in your reactions when you hear something you didn't expect. Our introduction to Dimash was in season 2017 (I think) of the Chinese Competition "The Singer". In the 2018 season, deservedly won by Jessie J., there were also some stellar performances but the one I think would blow you away in an entirely different way is "Heaven" by a Mongolian singer called Tengri. Unbelievably powerful and emotional and technically superb. I think you'd love it even if you just watched it for your own enjoyment but I would love to see your reaction to it.
