@@adamwebster9784 You're insane if you think Theodore lacks any power whatsoever. He keeps the tempo way better than Castillo, who was always rushing or dragging the beat. Also if we're speaking just sheer energy, I doubt Castillo could keep up with Jon's TMV stuff. Sure, to each it's own if we're talking about style, Castillo, punky, almost sloppy in certain performances and songs actually elevate some of QOTSA's material but Jon is honestly a much more consistent drummer and better fit imo

Ah, he seemed emotional, I was wondering if it had to do with Bataclan but I see this was at least Queens' 4th time playing France since that tragedy at the EODM concert. But yeah, seems like Josh is feeling all sorts of things here. EDIT: Actually, I think he's probably just drunk as fuck, and balancing himself out with speed. I know Josh could probably sing and play in his sleep, but I'm wondering if hallucinogenics as the front man may be too much of a risk. Shit can go bad in an instant, haha.

My second viewing of this video. My god, it's a quality recording and really well edited. You can hear every instrument and see every one of the guys are totally jazzed with playing on stage. I may be a bit biased, as I've listened to QOTSA on and off for 20+ years. It can't be denied that they're still pumping out grade A music. In my opinion they're the coolest rock band around.
