Texas Magnolia loved it! Rami deserved the Academy award. The movie was a little off w/ timing & some facts, but it’s hard/impossible to put 20 years of a man’s life into a two hour movie. Most people don’t know this but Freddie mercury and Tim ( The former lead singer of Smile- The band with Roger and Brian prior to Queen) we’re best friends from graphic arts school. Freddie Mercury movie Brian and Roger very well and at one time before they even formed a band, they shared a flat together. Times were hard and Freddie Mercury and Roger Taylor had a store in Kensington market that they had to make money to live & eat. When Tim left Smile, Brian and Roger we’re going to throw in the white towel. That’s when Freddie Mercury was the catalyst and told them they couldn’t give up, and they had him - as a singer. They renamed the van and of course it was Freddie Mercury‘s choice. I thought it sounded regal. The movie makes it look like he didn’t meet the band until later on but in truth he met them probably around 1966-1967

Love watching your Reaction! I'm glad you watched this live. When you listen to these great old rock songs try to find live in concert. The rock gods, Queen, Led Zeppelin are amazing to watch.

So glad you came across a childhood favorite and got to see both songs back to back...which is how they were always played on radio... Love what your doing. I haven't seen all of your videos yet, but you should check out Night Ranger, Billy Squire, Whitesnake, Bob Seger, GNR, oh I could go on...lol.

Queen was inducted into the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. :) btw, Queen did the soundtrack for the movie Flash Gordon in 1980. The main theme "Flash" is another hero song from Freddy but with comicbook sci-fi leanings.

I swear Queen are the band that made the most iconic songs that even though they were made before you were born before your 10 you know them and sing along

My dad bought this big ass stereo system when he was in the service during Vietnam. I still remember being 3 with these giant headphones on my head and he would play that for me .

Oh my. My father did the same thing when he was overseas in Vietnam War. He was in the Airforce and came home with 2 complete pioneer stereo systems. lol

You had some awesome teachers! I am a preschool teacher, and have long been a fan of introducing kids to the classics early. Your memories and reaction to this most excellent rock anthem bring me so much joy!
