Replacing parts in this boiler is super easy but calibrating the gas valve really does let it down. I like how it can be done digitally but not when it’s this complicated, who thought this was a better idea than spending a few minutes turning a couple of screws? Not to mention the amount of water and gas used in this process.

Hi.just got a static caravan with the alpha intec 28x...when i push button to turn on winter mode..the boiler motor or fan etc runs .i left it on in this mode for good few hours and it dont stop running.should this do that????.central heating works fine with thermostat etc..its been checked serviced before it was handed over..many thanks

Hi Kevin, thanks for your enquiry. If there’s no demand (i.e. from room thermostat) the boiler should come to a complete stop. If the caravan is newly owned, we’d suggest speaking to the vendor to get it looked at by a heating engineer.

On a fast calibration of alpha in tec228xe boiler goes to 90 knocks off then fires again same thing with tap open won't hold steady help

What causes E96 fault

Hi Johnny. An E96 is an airflow issue so would recommend getting it looked at by a GasSafe engineer or speaking with our customer service team.
