I'm just... so happy this video exists. makes me feel like Dan is tired as hell, like he hasn't slept in a few days, and he's telling us story's about nothing. 'this one time in arizona... the McDonald's had the coolest water fountains...' that's nice dan. 'the plants... they were high quality fake ones... not those fake ones from marshals...' that's nice dan

That subway car you saw will be heading for my home state of California. Here in the SF/Bay Area we have a transit system called BART or Bay Area Rapid Transit. What you saw is brand new state of art train car that will be implemented soon. By middle of this year and next year.

Austin, TX has the largest urban bat colony in the country; fortunately they've become a tourist attraction or nutters would be out trying to kill them. i salute you for taking the little bat to a wildlife rescue org. I have taken many rescued creatures to the local rescue center where I live. It is always a gift to become aware of a kindred spirit.

P.S. THANK YOU for saving the bat, love you for that, Dan! I love bats, they're quite lovely. The mother love their babes. They'd (usually the juveniles) would get in my prior house ... so I'd get them in a juice container and take them back outside. Once got one only to see it was a momma holding her baby under her wing. so sweet.

So was the Amber Inn a decent motel? They are like a mini-chain there in the Magic Valley of Idaho. There are a few along the I-84 corridor. Probably were built as the Interstate went in. Dang Garden of Eden is where people always seem to stop when needing a rest; spent many a high school road trip to Boise with a rest stop there. Food court used to have Taco Bell "Express" along with Blimpie and TCBY which is now TacoTime.
