nighttracker ? Lavender (and rosemary) decreases the production of cortisol, the stress hormone, which is why it helps people sleep etc it just mellows you out. I boil lavender seeds in water and let it cool to make a spray for when I'm feeling stressed or my daughter is throwing a tantrum. A lot of products you can buy have artificial scents in them or use oils, which can be unsafe for children and toxic for pets, but boiling the seeds in water dilutes the lavender and is safe to use

I work at a taco chain localized in my state and I'm just remembering how on two separate occasions folks have come in with their younique cards and on those occasions they both ordered like. On bean burrito and a drink (drinks don't come with), and, both times I had to be like "I'm sorry, the card declined," and they just looked so disappointed. Not even like surprised just, "oh, okay..." Only other time and MLM's card was DECLINED, I had this family of like 4 come through the drive thru and originally they ordered 15~ bean burritos, I told them the price (I think like $20), and the man ordering went, "Oh, uh, how many could I get for $10?" "8? Is that okay?" "Yeah yeah, sure, and 2 sweet teas" "That bumps you to $10.75, is that okay?" "Yes yes yes, thank you so much." And I just went on with ordering stuff. When they got to the window they gave me the 10 in bills and then handed me a younique card. counted the bills just to make sure, typed it in, then swiped the card. Declined, of course. "Sir I'm sorry, it declined?" "Oh, that's weird, there's money in it..." "I'm sorry, it declined." "...Okay" Turns to his wife, who pulls out, you guessed it, a second fucking younique card, I swipe it, it declines, and they search their car. Honestly, I just felt like, so bad for them but I didn't have the 75 cents they needed and I couldn't just let them off so they took off one of the teas. But yeah, don't join an MLM it's. You don't want to be poorer than the 16 year old you order food from.

And these don't include the ATM fees. You can't get the card until you've gotten $50, and the average presenter earns $15 a month! And then they charge you $1 everytime you use the fucking card lmao

Essential oils are pretty great when diluted. For example, once I put about two drops of mint essential oil into a can of frosting to make minty frosted cupcakes. It was delicious. But remember to be VERY CAREFUL. They're incredibly potent and can hurt you if you don't dilute them. Of course, when diluted, they're pretty cool. I don't think they can solve illnesses, but they can definitely smell and taste nice, and they might even be able to do stuff like repel insects too. Just don't buy into a multi level marketing scam for them. Just go to your local hipster store and get em there.

Those women talking about using essential oils on their kids even though they're allergic just really pisses me off to no end. Those oils are super harmful if not diluted properly and they're especially harmful with someone who has allergies. I spilled lemongrass oil and then stepped on it with my shoes on and it absorbed through my shoe into my skin and I was so so so sick for days. And anytime I smell any oil that has citrus in it i immediately swell up. I also kept taking a shot of liquid coconut oil a day and that fucked my stomach up! And i literally had people tell ne i was crazy that its all natural so it shouldnt hurt me. But people just keep giving this shit in the wrong ways or using it like it's a cure all when it can actually be harmful if you're not smart about it. I believe there are a lot ways to use supplements and herbs that are beneficial but it shouldn't be used unless you know what you're doing and even then still be careful.

That doesnt sound nice at all. Wart removal is generally unpleasant (trust me, i know) but the only effective way (i think, it removed the ones i had for good but idk) to remove warts is to have liquid nitrogen sprayed on them every 4 to 6 weeks by your dermatologist. Its really painful but there are no lasting effects or anything but idk what works for anyone else
@iNuminex6 жыл бұрын
My dad once did the same thing, but with Grapefruit Seed Extract. I didn't get a burn, and the wart was actually gone. He uses that shit all the time for everything. To this day i'm not sure if it's just a placebo or if it actually is functional snake oil. 11:01 This guys post reminds me of a product and it's creator that went on Dr. Phil called Jilly Juice. Woman claimed her product could do literally anything including regrow lost limbs. What it really appeared to be was salt water that gave you the shits but hey, tomato tom-a-to am I right? Lol

Hell yeah I remember that!

I remember when that shit started. I was in several anti-Jilly Juice groups that were trying to keep people from being killed by that salty cabbage abomination.

The part where that one mom was like "my kids can't be allergic to anything all natural" is something that I've ran into in the past with people before and they always act embarrassed for thinking something so stupid after I make the comparison that I am allergic to something all natural that actually will kill me if I eat it: green beans.

I’m allergic to my own pancreas, so ditto Okay, technically it’s type 1 beetus, but all autoimmune disorders are, are you being allergic to yourself. Funny how that always sounded like a silly joke as a kid, yet now the ramifications are potentially horrifying

10:00 Goddamn, this infuriates me. Poor children; will have to live with the consequences and probably become indocrinated aswell (unless the curtain falls at some point). Arsenic is completely natural, too!

Nuts are also natural. So is poison ivy! I have a nut allergy and the doctor said to avoid nuts, but I'm not gonna listen to him, and I'm gonna have a bath in almond milk because it's so good for your skin, then I'm going to towel myself off with poison ivy! I can't wait!

Sorry to make a Tl;dr but you just gave me a large piece of nostalgia. As a middle schooler I had a girl in my band class who's parent was a person on the board of directors for "band boosters" and that year we did scentsy candles that year. After the boosters were over the money was supposedly going to are band trip but was stolen by the lady. She bought and wrecked a car with the money and left the state. Never trusting scentsy yet again

I think they’re defending the product and those who like said product as opposed to Scentsy itself. Wax warmers aren’t a bad thing - they’re essentially decorative candles without fire - and Scentsy does offer warmers and scents of good quality. My mom got into them about a decade ago, and we still use the products she bought. So I think more of their strong feelings goes towards that as opposed to the idea of the pyramid scheme Scentsy imposes with its legion of consultants. Because without that aspect of the business, Scentsy still stands as a legitimate product.
