Re: the m&ms, skittles, reese's pieces one: It's very easy to tell the difference if you give them a little bit of a closer look. Skittles are the most round, reese's pieces are the most flat. Reese's pieces only come in yellow, orange, and brown so naturally if you don't want that you can avoid those three colors all together. You know the purple ones are skittles because there's no purple m&ms. Plus skittles are a brighter shade of the colors than m&ms. Don't know about Reece's pieces but the roundness should be your go to to figure it out. However they are still contaminated with the peanuts so just keep that away from any and all people with peanut allergies.

3:03 Its been a year but now since I am a geograply major and we recently had classes about this, I can answer. Its because of the process of Mountain Formation (also known as orogenesis'). We've had 3 orogenic movements like this so far. 1. Caledonian - Cambrian - Devonian period 2. Hercynian - Devonian - Carboniferous period 3. Alpine - which started in paleogene period and is active till now The growth of mount everest is the result of Alpine oregeny, which as I said is still active. It is a tectonic movement in which pieces of earths crust - called plates - smash against eachother and buckle upwards, kinda like a cars roof. Hope that helped!

Mountains do grow, actually. They often form where one tectonic plate pushes below another - the Himalaya is one example. And since the plates are always moving, pushing one of them upwards, they grow over time, albeit VERY slowly. In this case it probably is mostly snow and ice.

9:03 I remember looking this up a while ago. It's, well it's still kinda depressing, but not for the reasons you think. When his mother said that to him, she was under the impression that he was just an empty shell that used to be her son, because that's what the doctors had told her when he first went into a nonresponsive state (not actually a coma, something far, far worse; basically he was still technically alive, but all of his higher brain functions had shut off). However, what they _didn't_ know was that he had actually woken up soon after the diagnosis. However, he couldn't move or talk, so no one noticed. He was literally trapped in his own body, watching the world go on around him, unable to interact with it, with everyone thinking he was completely braindead. As far as those around him were aware, the person he was was gone, but they still had the responsibility of taking care of this empty shell. Eventually it got to be too much for his mother, and, thinking he couldn't hear her or be hurt by her words, she took some of her frustration out on him. It took 12 years and being put into a nursing home before someone realized there was a consciousness in there (they noticed his eyes seemed to be moving in a way that didn't line up with him being mindless), and he's said that he doesn't blame his mother for saying this. Hey Jack here's your question about the Mount Everest growing. So basically, Mount Everest growing is not due to the snow but rather because when the Indian plate separated from Africa and collided with the Asian subcontinent it pushed the land there upwards which made it so big and is still pushing to this day which causes the mountain to grow.
