R&G Engine Sliders Installation On The 2022 MT10

Well, I have my bike now. Just fitted some Evotech frame sliders to mine. I have GB racing engine covers over the important bits on both sides, Evotech paddock stand bobbins and Evotech spindle sliders front and rear. 70NM on the frame sliders is the correct settings.

Very nice. Yeah I used Gen 1 service manual to look for torque specs.

that's my next thing im ordering, my frame sliders came in today I ended up going with the shogun delrin ones I've always liked the tube style delrin sliders, those engine sliders seem good

Easy to install and I think they look great. I'm not sure how affective these sliders will be during the low side. Good luck with the install.

@@RaidenXXII oh yea definitely and yea I have read several opinions on the different style sliders idk I've heard they can possibly cause motor mount damage I've luckily never had to find out but I think the ones you got are great and thanks I did get mine installed earlier went well the engine didn't appear to shift at all luckily always makes me nervous removing motor mount bolts lol

@@psyfertech The engine has like 5 bolts held in to the frame. The 2 bolts removed is just the front top bolts so the engine shouldn't shift. I was nervous at first before removing and then read the 2017 MT10 Service Manual and they specify there are 5 bolts holding the engine to the frame. I also made a video on how to instal Tail Tidy Fender Eliminator on the 2022 MT10. The installation itself would have taken like 1hr but with the filming took me several hours. lol

@@RaidenXXII oh okay I was wondering that makes me feel better then.. yea I thought it was just the front two and the rear and awesome I will have to check it out mine is coming in tomorrow hopefully ill be glad to see that massive fender gone lol

@@psyfertech made a big difference. It made the bike more sharper and aggressive. Now I'm looking for iridium headlights covers. Can't find them anywhere.

Still waiting for my 22 MT10. Beginning to wonder if the 10 represents how many months I'm going to have to wait for it. I'm really gonna have to buy a torque wrench.

Do not tighten the r&g sliders more than 40nm. It is specified on the installing instructions 👍

what type of bar end mirrors did you put on?

I bought a pair from just Aliexpress. I can link it to you.

The actual bar ends didn't fit becssue the stock one is screwed in one and the one that came with is the expanding barend. So I just wrapped the mirror frame onto the stock barends. a.aliexpress.com/_m0BLi7s
