The one about the author of Captain Underpants actually made me cry. My ADHD got me mentally and physically abused by teachers and I almost quit drawing when a teacher told another student to trick me into throwing away my art and let them rip the drawings up when I figured it out. I'm so glad that another person with ADHD recovered and thrived after this treatment, especially someone who was my main source of inspiration in elementary school.

I started crying several times throughout this video but the one that gut me crying all the way to the end was the one with the old lady who used be to see things, I just kept thinking about my grandma and how confused she's been in the past few years as her hearing, eyesight and memory have been deteriorating and I remembered how after she got eye surgery (to remove layers of dust and stuff that piled up over the years) she cried because she was able to see again.

the trucking arm pump thing-- my school(which has kids from age 3-14) has a walkathon where we just walk laps around the school for a few hours. a lot of trucks come out of the warehouses near by, and a lot of normal cars drive by too- my class always does the arm-pump or pretend to honk a horn and teach it to the younger classes. every few minutes we hear a horn and then the loudest cheering from the kids. i graduate next year and it hurts my heart that me and my friends started this tradition 9 years ago and that it will live on by the pure joy of teaching other kids how to get a trucker to honk a horn.

I work in retail and sometimes have to help at the register. One of the items our store sells is those compressed air cans for cleaning keyboards and such. Whenever I can one (and this is the only item that does this) I get a pup up reminding me to make sure the customer is over 18. So whenever anyone buys one i ALWAYS ask "Are you over 18 sir/ma'am?". i always get at least a smile from any of the over 40 customers, and a few times I actually got a "thank you". (and depending on their reaction, sometimes i'll even add a "i dunno, i'm gonna have to see some ID", which gets an even bigger laugh usually)

I hate when people put others down for liking something. No one should feel bad for enjoying something. Same with things about themselves they can’t control maybe a stutter, making someone feel bad for expressing emotion and talking to people is horrible. I have a close friend who used to have a stutter. I remember one day she came to me and thanked me for always listening and even trying to help her find the words and never getting impatient with her. The arm pump for the truckers story just reminds me of my nephew that we taught that to He got so excited when he did it and a trucker actually honked their horn for him while passing and it was so adorable because he was only about 2-3 years old at the time

I remember I would always go into school feeling loved while talking with my friends. This went on every day, and I still do it. You’re never too old to love your parents.

19:26 this brought back such a good memory from when i was in elementary school!!! our class was going on a road trip and since we were a pretty big class, we took the bus. the ride was about 2 hours so after a little people started to get bored. when we were all boredly sitting around the person sitting next to me yelled something like "ITS A SEMI! DO THE ARM PUMP!" and so all 24 of us started aggressively doing it, and the driver blowed the horn like 6 times. we all started cheering until the bus driver told us to be quiet. i didnt know not that many kids do it anymore, but that was the highlight of the entire trip :)

Im hoping this would make someone's day who has the same issues hopefully. I'm at work rn (listening to this video actually) and texting my soon to be girlfriend. She's schizoaffective and has some bad delusions and such, but I've helped her with a few of them and have tried my best to support her. Just after a little bit of talking, she tells me she had a tic where she squeals and clenches fists and covers her face with them. I asked her more about them and she said that it happens when she's so happy it over stimulates her and told me that I caused it. Now im crying from knowing I made her feel that happy, after she's been "graped" (so nothing happens to the video) and dumped while in the hospital after a "self kill" incident. Really feel like she's the greatest Update: she also just told me her ex started talking to her and blocked her after she was talking about how great I was 😂

To the bond between a dog and a baby thing I have a story. So when my little brother was born, our dog was about 2 years old, and he was a watchdog, he made sure my brother was safe, and whenever someone he considered a "threat" was around he would protect my brother like no other. 12 years later when he sadly passed away, my brother was the most broken up about it out of all of us, and everything he said could be boiled down to "I lost my best friend" the bond between a dog and a baby last a life time. Its been 3 years now, and my brother is still sad about his passing.

I work at a daycare where we go on walks to the library every week, since we live in a smaller farm town we have plenty of semis drive through town. The kids favorite part of the walks are counting how many times we can get the trucks to honk their horns for us when we pump our arms. Knowing it makes the truck drivers as happy as the kids makes me really smile. 🥰

when i got one of my dogs my granma took me with her to the breeder's place. i had the puppy in my lap and both its parents flanked me and stared me down. they layed their heads on my lap with the pup. breeder said they never did that for anyone, said puppy was one of the best dogs i ever owned.
