I had wondered about Stan Lee's personal feelings about a gay Spider-Man, especially since LGBT+ became more and more accepted during his final years. It's nice to know that while Peter Parker Spider-Man himself is always going to be a straight male because he was created to be a heterosexual non-queer guy, Stan Lee himself was never opposed to the idea of a gay Spider-Man just like he never opposed to a black Spider-Man because Miles was a way to "make the world color-blind" aka racial acceptance because it was the right thing to do. We have so many Spider-Man varieties (hell we have a cartoon pig Spider-man), the time will come for that.

I wouldn't mind Peter Parker being bisexual though. He could still lean more towards women and have a clear preference. That's pretty common. I'm not surprised this isn't all that common though, considering that bisexuality is still treated like a phase or something fake. Now, something that _would_ be neat to see is Captain America and Iron Man, as two men, start a proper relationship. Because man, the chemistry is there.

@@Ikajo I think that some degree of bisexuality is a lot more common than people often like to admit. Hell, some thought of it being "a phase" could be people rejecting themselves in the same way that some of the people who say "being gay is a choice" think that because they feel homosexual attraction, have to choose not "be gay" to fit the bigotry they were taught, and think that EVERYONE must go through that themselves. Basically, people are biased because they think "Well, *I* got over it!", maybe not understanding that just because they lean more towards one preference or another doesn't mean they suddenly don't have bisexual feelings.

Because this ONE book she read was better than my 8+ years of undergradate and post-graduate study. She literally told me that she knew more from this one book than I did with my Masters and more than three years towards my Ph.D. Then again, I once was attacked by a bunch of guys on a site because I commented that Maid Marion was not part of the earliest Robin Hood stories, first recorded in the 13th century. She was a much later addition to the legend. OMG, the vitriol! Then again, that basically degenerated into - I've never heard that before so it must be false! And, she's in the Disney version! And yes, people seem to think that that was a logical argument. The Dinsey movie. Oh, and a couple said that I had missed a comma in my comment, so I clearly did not have an MA.

This is not quite true. Or at least it’s misleading. She only believes in euthanasia for domesticated animals like dogs that can’t live without us, especially for breeds like pugs that have been selectively bred into oblivion. Overpopulation is a severe problem, and she thinks it’s more humane to euthanize them than to have them live out their whole lives in a shelter (many animals are never adopted). She’s not like…. saying that all animals should be euthanized. I personally am more a fan of spaying and neutering dogs and cats and banning the selective breeding of dogs to have health issues. I understand why she would think it would be better to euthanize certain breeds, but I wouldn’t go that far.

"Skinny teas" are usually a mix of senna, a natural laxative, and stimulants, and sometimes an unlisted often untested "proprietary blend" and occasionally they'll contain some soluble fiber. Senna is a bit strong but great for occasional constipation and only that. I've used it before, it's effective but can give you abdominal cramps and nausea. Recommend drinking before bed, brewed with chamomile if you're using it for the first time, along with a glass of warm water and NOT with anything containing stimulants. Stimulants will make the side effects worse. Do not use stimulant laxatives, like senna, or laxatives at all for that matter to lose weight. That is dangerous, will dehydrate you and will only give you temporary results, mostly because of water and poo leaving your system. Yes, you won't be as "bloated" because your intestines always have a little waste in them and literally wringing that out of them will make you "feel" skinnier and will make your tummy cave a little. We all have water in our fat cells, yes, that's supposed to be there, though lack of movement and a diet high in sugar and/or sodium and certain health conditions that are often uncontrollable, will make you retain water (ie you feel and look "puffy" or in some cases swollen). Losing this will also make you feel and maybe even look a little skinnier, but it's definitely temporary. Again, only use senna if you are planning on doing some, potentially very uncomfortable, pre-colonoscopy type cleansing of your intestines.
