Reel Life you are not supposed to stop someone without probable cause and 2 men driving through a neighborhood like these 2 is not probable cause. If there was a call to law enforcement about a specific crime that these 2 matched physically or description of their vehicle then the stop is appropriate and expected. Once the stops made and they are ruled out, probable cause is gone and they should have been let go without further interruption of the 2 men's day with a thank you for your cooperation and have a good day.

I've also seen the best in people and I've dealt with both by following the law as it was at that specific moment and also by treating all people with respect. I found early in my career that with most people if you speak to them with respect it gets you much farther then if you treated them without respect. I'm Brown and was profiled by the cops for years and years. I got pulled over to many times to count, with No Tickets or No Warning Tickets. I finally went into the Police Station and asked to speak to the Chief of Police. When he came out, I told him that I had documented every time I was stopped which officer and the time and no tickets or warnings were issued. My attorney said the next time I get pulled over and no tickets are issued we were going to Sue for Harrassment. I didn't get pulled Ever again. The funny thing is I didn't have a attorney, but it stopped the Harrassment.

Living in the Suburbs as a black man, I have to literally put on my running attire to go for a simple exercise walk just to make sure I don't get stopped for no reason. Paul N. I know the feeling I was followed by a cop before over 30 miles. I wasn't speeding, I threw blinkers on, I stopped to get gas he pulled up to the gas station a few feet away watching me. I leave and he leaves cutting off a car to make sure he was behind me. I said fuck this, turned into a neighborhood found a house no cars in the drive way. I turned my car off and reclined the seat back after I seen him drive by.....at maybe 5mph. I sat there then seen a spot light slowly go by. Waited a few minutes and backed out and went home. Nothing he could have really done he was out of his jurisdiction. I was in the city limits of another town he followed me though I broke no laws he was waiting for me too or hoped I turned on a bigger street to have room to pull me over. The cops here suck. My friend got pulled over cause he forgot to turn on his headlights, next thing I know he's having a friendly chat and I'm stepping out of the car to get patted down cause they said I had to have an id it's the law. Note that was riding and not driving so ID isn't required, I didn't even have a license.
