Oooooohhhhh....my goodness!! I wish you lived next door. Can I convince you to move?? I've been enjoying your fabulous recipes. I don't have a "Ron" anymore. My sweetheart died nearly 10 years ago. I love hearing you talk about your Ron's favorite this or that. Both of my kids found their spouses by being good cooks too! But it's easy to see that Ron fell for your sweetness on the inside. Keep these coming dear one.

I made these today, and they turned out so delicious!! I did cheat by using Pillsbury pie crust, and they did not disappoint. Thank you, Rachel, for sharing your recipes. You are a wonderful cook and a terrific teacher! Keep up the great work... you are the best ❤😊❤

Question please: Did you use Pillsbury Pie Dough or Pillsbury Puff Pastry Dough? I ask because I have Pie Dough on hand and have not yet made this recipe thinking maybe store bought Pie Dough might be too tough or too crunchy. My oven in my Motorcoach is a tad smaller than a traditional sized oven so I always adjust for that difference in timings or temperatures. Glad to know that the store bought Dough worked nicely.

So easy as they seem. Just a little bit of time, but so worth it for these hand pies. I make pasties which is a meat, potatoes along with onions topped with suete for flavor. These are English tradition for the miners lunch buckets. My grand father carried them when he was a miner in California mines of Grass Valley.

Hi Rachel. My grandsons and I made your empinadas except we didn't have good apples but have several very delicious peache trees. We used your recipe to cook the peaches and added finely diced jalapenos and some tapioca. They came out very good. We made them a bit bigger using a pot lid. I'm not sure jalapenos would be good with apples. The fruit stands near my home sell jalapeno jams and jellies. Thank you for sharing.
